Is the 2025 Subaru Impreza a good car?

The 2025 Subaru Impreza stands out as a practical all-weather compact car with standard all-wheel drive, which gives you broad everyday usefulness and added confidence in poor road conditions. It is also described as affordable and practical, making it a sensible choice if you want straightforward transportation rather than a premium experience.

The tradeoff is that it is not positioned as the sportiest or most luxurious option in its class, and the available information points to a rough ride and cheap interior materials. If you value traction, practicality, and easy daily use, those compromises may be acceptable. 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Subaru Impreza reliable?

The 2025 Subaru Impreza is presented as easy to live with and well suited to daily use, with its practical all-weather setup reinforcing that reputation. Its appeal centers on straightforward usability and confidence in everyday driving, especially if you want a compact car that handles poor road conditions well.

For long-term ownership, you should still pay close attention to condition and maintenance history, because used-car reliability depends heavily on how each example has been cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Subaru Impreza?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus your inspection on signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or poor repairs. Because the Impreza is meant to be a practical daily driver, condition matters most in the areas you will notice every day: ride quality, cabin wear, and overall mechanical feel.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Subaru Impreza?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,422 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,324, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Subaru Impreza's resale value?

The current average of $24,327 sits slightly below last year's $25,123.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, it also means resale value may be steadier if you keep the car in strong condition and avoid overpaying today. The relatively narrow year-round range also points to a market that is not swinging wildly, which can make pricing more predictable.

Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Impreza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.17% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $22,843, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $24,327 average.
• It adds more excitement and value.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model year with a strong inventory pool and a softer price trend, the 2025 is the better default choice. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the smarter path because it undercuts the current year's average while still delivering the Impreza's core appeal.
