How much does the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek cost?

Prices have softened 5.45% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,694 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek a good car?

The 2025 Subaru Crosstrek stands out because it keeps the formula that made the nameplate successful: a simple, practical crossover with standard all-wheel drive, generous ground clearance, and a rugged look that suits daily use and bad weather alike. It is also one of Subaru’s more personality-filled vehicles, pairing a compact footprint with useful body protection and roof rails that make it easy to carry extra cargo.

For buyers who want a small crossover that feels capable without becoming complicated, that combination is a major part of its appeal. The model’s everyday usability and all-weather confidence are the core reasons it makes sense for shoppers who value practicality over flash.

36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek reliable?

The 2025 Subaru Crosstrek stands out because it keeps the formula that made the nameplate successful: a simple, practical crossover with standard all-wheel drive, generous ground clearance, and a rugged look that suits daily use and bad weather alike. It is also one of Subaru’s more personality-filled vehicles, pairing a compact footprint with useful body protection and roof rails that make it easy to carry extra cargo.

For buyers who want a small crossover that feels capable without becoming complicated, that combination is a major part of its appeal. Its straightforward mission and emphasis on everyday usability make it a sensible choice if you want a used crossover that should be easy to live with over time.

Long-term ownership risk is most likely to come from the model’s simpler base setup and the added wear that can come with a used all-wheel-drive crossover.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Subaru Crosstrek?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any candidate and verify that the vehicle’s past matches the seller’s description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with signs of hard use. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and how the car drives, since those details matter more than the badge alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Subaru Crosstrek?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,694 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.45% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,363, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Subaru Crosstrek's resale value?

The current average of $28,363 sits slightly below last year's $29,997.

That softer pricing can help you buy with less risk of overpaying, but it also means future resale gains may be limited if the market stays steady. If you plan to sell later, condition and mileage will matter a lot, because buyers will likely compare your Crosstrek against plenty of similar listings. A well-kept example should still hold appeal thanks to the model’s practical reputation and broad shopper interest.

Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Crosstrek or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.45% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $26,048, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $28,363 average.
• It adds multiple engine choices and a Wilderness trim.

The bottom line:
You should start with the 2025 if you want the newer market position and a strong mix of inventory quality and pricing momentum. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2024 is the better value path and may be the smarter buy if you find a clean, well-maintained example.
