Is the 2025 Porsche Panamera a good car?

The 2025 Porsche Panamera stands out because it blends Porsche performance with four-door practicality in a way few luxury sedans can match. It is the latest, third-generation version, and Porsche says only about 30% of components are carried over, even though it looks very similar to the previous car. The updated front and rear sections bring squarer headlights and a more pronounced rear light bar, while the overall character remains a mix of sportiness and luxury. Every version is described as enjoyable and comfortable to drive, and the range is now mostly plug-in hybrids.

That makes it a strong fit if you want serious speed, luxury-car comfort, and real everyday usability in one package. The standard equipment list is also extensive, which helps support its premium positioning. Deal availability is solid, with 34.4% of listings marked as good or great deals.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that this is a complex, high-end performance car with a lot of premium hardware, so condition and maintenance history matter more than they would on a simpler sedan.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Porsche Panamera?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any car you are seriously considering, even when the market looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for wear, prior repairs, and any signs that the car has been driven hard or maintained inconsistently. Focus especially on overall condition, because a premium performance sedan like this can hide expensive issues if you only judge it by appearance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Porsche Panamera?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.62% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $106,866, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Porsche Panamera's resale value?

The current average of $106,866 sits slightly below last year's $114,442.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy more selectively today. If you plan to sell later, the Panamera’s premium positioning and strong desirability should still support value, but the current trend shows that pricing can move down when supply and shopping options improve. For you, that means buying well matters: the better the deal you get now, the better your resale position is likely to be later.

Should I buy a 2025 Porsche Panamera or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.62% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the newest version of the Panamera formula and you value the updated third-generation design and broad standard equipment. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a similar ownership experience with a lower entry cost, so it is worth comparing listings across years before you decide.
