The current average of $149,828 sits slightly below last year's $170,975.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy with more confidence today. If you plan to sell later, the current softness may limit short-term upside unless the car is especially well kept or priced aggressively when you list it.

Should I buy a 2025 Porsche 718 Boxster or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.37% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version in this comparison and you value the current market softness, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is stretching your budget, a different year may be the better secondary path, especially if you can find a cleaner or lower-priced example with the right condition and history.
