Used 2025 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearBode, IA

How much does the 2025 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 17.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

With 9,341 listings available, you should have a solid amount of inventory to compare across trims and conditions.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Nissan Rogue earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

It is a five-passenger compact SUV aimed at shoppers who want comfort, value, and everyday usefulness. The Rogue’s strengths include a comfortable ride, good fuel economy, and an upscale interior, while the 2025 update adds more personality through the Rock Creek trim and newly available ProPilot Assist 2.1 highway driving assist.

The main trade-offs are modest acceleration and passing power, plus the fact that some rivals are sportier and more fun to drive. Even so, the Rogue remains a well-rounded choice if you want a practical compact SUV with broad appeal.

38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Rogue is presented as a well-rounded, easy-to-live-with SUV with a comfortable ride and a refined-feeling cabin. Its drivetrain is described as smooth and nicely faded into the background, and the CVT is praised for staying unobtrusive rather than adding noise or harshness.

The 201-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder provides decent grunt for routine driving, and the overall package is described as supportive, robust, and attractive. If you plan to keep one used for the long haul, the biggest ownership risk is that its modest power may leave you wanting more in daily passing and highway merging.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Rogue?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or a more heavily optioned trim. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake feel, cabin wear, and whether the features you want are actually present on the specific listing.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Rogue is offered in five trims: the base S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and range-topping Platinum. The SV stands out as the volume model because it adds an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, two rear USB-C ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, keyless entry, remote start, dual-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, and a power liftgate. The Platinum adds semi-aniline leather seating surfaces, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, and a 10-speaker Bose audio system.
• Powertrain: The Rogue uses a 201-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available on all trims except Rock Creek, where it comes standard.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection assist, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, a driver attention monitor, and automatic high-beam headlights. ProPilot Assist and ProPilot Assist 2.1 are available, along with a surround-view parking camera system and traffic-sign recognition.
• Infotainment: Entry-level S and SV trims use an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Upper trims get a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google built-in capability, satellite radio, and Amazon Alexa.
• Fuel efficiency: A front-wheel drive Rogue delivers an EPA-estimated 33 mpg combined, all-wheel drive returns 31 mpg combined, and the Rock Creek trim is rated at 29 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Rogue is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and are comfortable with the simpler 8-inch touchscreen and wired smartphone connectivity.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds a wide range of everyday conveniences, including adaptive cruise control, a power liftgate, remote start, dual-zone climate control, and a Wi-Fi hot spot.
• Rock Creek: This is the choice if you want the Rogue’s more adventurous personality, with standard all-wheel drive, all-terrain tires, a tubular roof rack, hill-descent control, and a surround-view camera system.
• SL: This trim is the step up if you want the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Google built-in capability.
• Platinum: This is the luxury-leaning pick, with semi-aniline leather, a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and the 10-speaker Bose audio system.

The available safety tech is broad, and ProPilot Assist 2.1 is a notable upgrade where equipped.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Rogue?

The market looks moderately favorable if you are a selective buyer.

• Deal availability: 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 9,341 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.08% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,191, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $23,230 sits slightly below last year's $28,014.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means your resale outcome will depend heavily on how well you preserve condition, mileage, and trim desirability.

Higher-spec versions may be easier to market if they are well equipped and clean, but you should still expect depreciation to matter. If you buy smart now, you can reduce the sting later by starting from a lower entry price.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2025 Rogue earns five-star ratings from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The Rogue comes standard with forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection assist, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, a driver attention monitor, and automatic high-beam headlights. IIHS has not yet tested the 2025 model year, but the closely related 2024 Rogue earned top marks of “Good” in all but one category, with an “Acceptable” result in side impact testing.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The Rock Creek trim and newly available ProPilot Assist 2.1 add extra personality and tech.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $20,811, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $23,230 average.
• It brings refreshed styling and Google built-in apps, which are its standout strengths.

The bottom line: If you want the newest mix of value, safety, and updated features, the 2025 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the smarter budget alternative and still brings strong tech appeal.
