Used 2025 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearSioux Falls, SD

How much does the 2025 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 16.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 9,310 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

The 2025 Rogue is positioned as a five-passenger compact SUV that emphasizes comfort, value, and everyday usefulness. Its strengths include a comfortable ride, good fuel economy, and an upscale interior, while the latest updates add more personality through the Rock Creek trim and more polish through Nissan’s latest highway driving assist technology.

The main trade-offs are modest acceleration and passing power, plus the fact that some rivals are sportier and more fun to drive. Even so, the Rogue’s broad usefulness and mainstream appeal make it a strong fit if you want a well-rounded compact SUV rather than a performance-first one.

40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Rogue’s reliability case is helped by its easy-going driving demeanor, smooth CVT behavior, and strong everyday usability. The expert evaluation also points to a supportive seating position, a robust and attractive cabin, and a roomy cargo hold, all of which matter when you plan to keep a vehicle for years.

Its drivetrain is described as smooth and nicely faded into the background, and the turbo three-cylinder is said to provide decent grunt for routine driving as long as you are not in a hurry. The cost-effectiveness notes also highlight that the drivetrain is kind to a fuel budget.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the modest powertrain may feel strained if you regularly want quick passing or brisk acceleration.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Rogue?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or a more heavily optioned trim. Focus on overall condition, feature operation, and signs of wear that could affect comfort or convenience equipment.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Rogue is offered in five trims: the base S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and range-topping Platinum. The SV adds an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, two rear USB-C ports, a Wi-Fi hot spot, keyless entry, remote start, dual-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, and a power liftgate, while the Platinum adds semi-aniline leather seating surfaces, a power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, and a 10-speaker Bose audio system.
• Powertrain: The Rogue uses a 201-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available on all trims except the Rock Creek, where it comes standard.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection assist, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, a driver attention monitor, and automatic high-beam headlights. Available upgrades include ProPilot Assist and ProPilot Assist 2.1, a surround-view parking camera system, traffic-sign recognition, and a head-up instrument display.
• Infotainment: Entry-level S and SV trims use an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Upper trims get a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google built-in capability, and Amazon Alexa.
• Fuel efficiency: A front-wheel drive Rogue delivers an EPA-estimated 33 mpg combined, AWD drops that to 31 mpg, and the Rock Creek returns 29 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Rogue is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and are comfortable with the simpler 8-inch touchscreen and wired smartphone connectivity.
• SV: This is the best-value trim because it adds a wide roster of everyday convenience features, including adaptive cruise control, a power liftgate, remote start, dual-zone climate control, and a Wi-Fi hot spot.
• Rock Creek: This is the one to choose if you want the most adventurous personality, with standard all-wheel drive, all-terrain tires, a tubular roof rack, a surround-view camera system, and hill-descent control.
• SL: This trim is the step up if you want the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, and Google built-in capability without going all the way to the top model.
• Platinum: This is the luxury-leaning choice, with semi-aniline leather, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, and a 10-speaker Bose audio system.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but some of the more advanced driver-assistance and camera features remain optional rather than standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Rogue?

It looks like a buyer-friendly market right now.

• Deal availability: 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 9,310 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.39% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,173, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $23,309 sits slightly below last year's $27,879.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited if prices stay soft. If you plan to sell later, the current lower entry point could help you avoid overpaying today, but it also means you should be realistic about how much value the vehicle may recover.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2025 Rogue earns a five-star rating from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The Rogue comes standard with forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection assist, lane departure warning, rear parking sensors, a driver attention monitor, and automatic high-beam headlights. Available safety tech includes ProPilot Assist, ProPilot Assist 2.1, a surround-view parking camera system, traffic-sign recognition, and a head-up instrument display.

One caveat is that IIHS has not yet tested the 2025 model year. The closely related 2024 Rogue earned top marks of “Good” in all but one IIHS category, with an “Acceptable” result in side impact testing.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The Rock Creek trim and newly available ProPilot Assist 2.1 add extra polish and capability this year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $20,823, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $23,309 average.
• It brings refreshed styling and Google built-in apps.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version with the broadest mix of current features, the 2025 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the smarter value play and still gives you a modern, well-equipped Rogue experience.
