Used 2025 Nissan Pathfinder for Sale nearAlbuquerque, NM

How much does the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder cost?

Prices have softened 14.48% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year. There are 5,286 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

The 2025 Nissan Pathfinder earns a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Cost effectiveness and Safety.

It comes across as a well-rounded three-row SUV that emphasizes value, practicality, and everyday usability. The overview and test-drive notes point to excellent cargo capacity, comfortable seating, a modern design, and a competitive price, which makes it a strong fit if you want a family-focused workhorse rather than a flashy standout.

The main trade-offs are that it is not as composed on-road as competitors and its tech is unimpressive. That means you should expect broad competence and good value, not class-leading driving polish or the most advanced cabin interface.

With 34.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

The Pathfinder is described as a solid, reliable experience across ownership, with a tried-and-true V6 and a nine-speed automatic that handles power well. The performance notes also point to familiar mechanics and readily available parts, which is reassuring if you plan to keep the SUV for the long haul.

Nissan’s maintenance program adds some ownership value, including up to three oil changes across the first two years or 24,000 miles. That helps reduce early service costs and supports the Pathfinder’s budget-friendly appeal.

For used buyers, the long-term risk is less about complexity and more about choosing a well-kept example, since the model’s value proposition depends on staying practical and affordable over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Pathfinder?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or a trim with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, interior wear, and whether the features you want are actually present on the specific listing.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Pathfinder comes in S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum trim levels. The base S is the most stripped-down version, while the higher trims add comfort and convenience features such as leather seating, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, and more advanced tech.
• Powertrain: Every Pathfinder uses a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic. The Rock Creek gets higher output and standard 4WD, while other trims vary in towing setup and efficiency.
• Safety package: Nissan’s standard driver-assistance suite includes blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and rear automatic braking. Adaptive cruise control and ProPilot Assist are standard on all but the base S trim, and traffic sign recognition is standard on the SL and Platinum trims.
• Infotainment: Screen size is 8 inches on S, SV, and Rock Creek, and 9 inches on SL and Platinum. Wireless Apple CarPlay is limited to the 9-inch screen, and navigation is standard only on SL and Platinum.
• Fuel efficiency: The Rock Creek returns 20 mpg city, 23 highway, and 21 combined. Other 4WD trims return 21/27/23.

Which 2025 Nissan Pathfinder trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Pathfinder is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it is also the most stripped-down version. You get the Pathfinder’s core value and safety foundation, but you give up features like adaptive cruise control and ProPilot Assist, so it makes the most sense if you want the lowest price and can live with a simpler setup.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more everyday comfort and convenience without jumping too far up the price ladder. It is the trim to target if you want a balanced Pathfinder rather than the bare minimum.
• Rock Creek: This is the one to choose if you want the most distinctive look and a more adventurous setup. It adds all-terrain tires, standard AWD, seven drive modes, and towing-focused hardware, but it is less composed on-road and does not gain extra ground clearance.
• SL: This is the smart upgrade if you want a more premium cabin and better tech. It adds leather seating, a larger screen, navigation, and more available comfort features, making it a strong middle ground for families who want more refinement.
• Platinum: This is the top choice if you want the most luxury and equipment. It brings the richest interior materials, standard ventilation, the larger driver display, and the most complete tech and comfort package.

Traffic sign recognition is standard on the SL and Platinum trims.

What is the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $32,651 sits slightly below last year's $38,179.

That price drop suggests the Pathfinder has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help you if you are shopping now. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on trim, condition, mileage, and equipment.

The good news is that the current market still shows healthy demand, so a clean, well-equipped Pathfinder should remain easier to move than a neglected one. If you buy carefully and keep it in strong condition, you should be able to protect more of its value over time.

Is the 2025 Nissan Pathfinder safe?

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Nissan equips every Pathfinder trim with a strong suite of driver-assistance features, including blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, and rear automatic braking. Adaptive cruise control and ProPilot Assist are standard on all but the base S trim, and traffic sign recognition is standard on the SL and Platinum trims.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.48% compared with last year.
• It adds slight updates that make an already well-rounded, value-focused three-row SUV more appealing.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds more convenience features and a larger touchscreen.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of price, safety, and everyday usefulness, the 2025 is the stronger buy right now. If you are willing to spend more for newer convenience features and a larger screen, the 2026 is worth a look; if not, the 2025 gives you the better value play.
