How much does the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport cost?

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport a good car?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport remains one of the most affordable options in the subcompact crossover class, and its formula is straightforward: a sedan-like ride, hatchback utility, a higher ride height, and standard all-wheel drive. That combination makes it easy to live with and a practical choice for you if you want an inexpensive AWD crossover without a lot of complexity.

Its long production run means most of the bugs have been worked out, and later examples benefit from good reliability. For 2025, it is essentially a carryover, so you are getting a familiar package rather than a heavily revised one. The tradeoff is that it has never been especially cutting-edge, and its weak engine, rough ride, cheap interior materials, and plasticky cabin are still part of the story.

39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport reliable?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport’s long-running design has helped keep ownership concerns relatively low, and later examples benefit from good reliability. It remains a straightforward, easy-to-live-with small SUV with standard all-wheel drive and a familiar layout.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about complexity and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by age, mileage, or neglect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for signs of wear, prior damage, and uneven maintenance. Pay close attention to overall condition, since the cabin materials and ride quality make it especially important to judge how well the vehicle has been cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,532 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.62% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,894, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport's resale value?

The current average of $19,894 sits slightly below last year's $22,510.

That price movement suggests the model has softened in the used market, which can help you buy at a lower entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. If you keep the car clean, documented, and accident-free, you will be in a better position to protect value when it is time to sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.62% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 makes the most sense if you want a familiar, affordable Outlander Sport with standard AWD and you value current-market pricing over the latest updates. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2025 is the cleaner choice if you want to shop from a large pool of listings and focus on condition rather than chasing major changes.
