Used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

How much does the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 9.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,833 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

With a 3/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating, the 2025 GLE looks like a strong luxury SUV that still asks you to accept a few compromises. It stands out for offering multiple body styles and multiple powertrain options, and its stylish interior is a major part of the appeal for family buyers.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The trade-offs are clear: the styling can feel ungainly, it drives bigger than it looks, and outward visibility is poor. Even so, it remains a solid choice in a competitive class, especially if you want a midsize luxury SUV with broad configuration flexibility.

Only 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is workable but not especially bargain-heavy.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

The 2025 GLE’s appeal starts with its broad lineup and polished execution, but reliability-minded shoppers should focus on how the vehicle was maintained and equipped. Mercedes gives you a four-year/50,000-mile new-vehicle warranty, and the model’s mix of turbocharged engines and mild-hybrid systems means condition matters.

The performance content points to a wide range of powertrains, from the turbo-four GLE 350 to the V8-powered AMG models, so long-term ownership costs can vary a lot by trim and engine choice. The cost-effectiveness content also notes that the GLE can be built into a very expensive vehicle, which is a reminder that higher-spec versions may carry more ownership risk as they age.

If you’re shopping used, the safest path is to prioritize a well-documented example with complete service records and avoid deferred maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report, verify service records, and inspect the vehicle closely for wear that matches its mileage and trim level. Pay extra attention to visibility-related concerns, cabin condition, and any signs that optional equipment was skipped or added inconsistently.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GLE’s styling and cabin presentation are a big part of its appeal, and the base model can feel less richly equipped than higher trims with more upscale interior touches.
• Powertrain: The lineup spans a turbo-four, turbo-six, plug-in hybrid, V8, and AMG variants, so you should match performance and efficiency expectations to how you plan to drive.
• Safety package: The Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-change assist, evasive steering assist, cross-traffic functionality for automatic emergency braking, and expanded driver monitoring.
• Infotainment: You get dual 12.3-inch screens, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and built-in navigation, with voice control helping offset the system’s complexity.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLE 450e 4Matic is rated at 23 mpg combined and offers up to 50 miles of electric range, while the GLE 350 is rated at 23 mpg combined with rear-wheel drive and 22 mpg combined with AWD.

Which 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 6 trim levels: GLE 350, GLE 350 4Matic, GLE 450 4Matic, GLE 450e 4Matic, GLE 580 4Matic, AMG GLE 53 4Matic+, and AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic+.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core GLE experience with the turbo-four engine and rear-wheel drive. It makes the most sense if you want the lowest starting price and are comfortable keeping the focus on comfort and luxury rather than maximum power.
• GLE 350 4Matic: This adds all-wheel drive to the base formula, making it the better all-weather choice if you want the most accessible version with extra traction.
• GLE 450 4Matic: This is the best-value pick for most shoppers because the inline-six is described as particularly impressive for its smoothness, and it brings a stronger all-around luxury feel.
• GLE 450e 4Matic: Choose this if you want plug-in hybrid efficiency and the ability to drive on electric power for short trips, while still keeping strong overall performance.
• GLE 580 4Matic: This is the V8 choice for buyers who want more muscle and are willing to pay for it.
• AMG GLE 53 4Matic+ / AMG GLE 63 S 4Matic+: These are the performance-focused options, with the 63 S delivering the most dramatic acceleration and the most expensive, high-output character in the lineup.

The Driver Assistance Package is optional, so if advanced safety tech matters to you, make sure the trim you choose is equipped accordingly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and focused.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,833 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.85% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $61,771, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $61,771 sits slightly below last year's $68,520.

That decline suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you get into the SUV at a better entry price. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect depreciation pressure if you buy at the wrong point in the cycle.

Because the year-round high reaches $69,285, well-kept examples with desirable equipment should still hold more appeal than stripped or heavily used versions. If you plan to resell later, condition, mileage, and trim choice will matter a lot.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with exit assist, crosswind assist, parking assist, a driver attention monitor, a 360-degree camera system, and Pre-Safe. Adaptive cruise control is part of the optional Driver Assistance Package, which also adds automatic speed-limit and curve adaptation, stop-and-go functionality, lane-change assist, evasive steering assist, a cross-traffic function for automatic emergency braking, and an expanded driver-monitoring system that can bring the vehicle to a stop if the driver is unresponsive.

One caveat is that the front-crash prevention tech received only “Marginal” and “Acceptable” ratings in standard and optional forms, respectively, even though the GLE still earned the IIHS’s highest overall award.

Should I buy a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.85% compared with last year.
• It adds new configurations and paint choices while keeping the GLE’s broad powertrain range and upscale cabin appeal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $56,672, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $61,771 average.
• It adds a facelift, upgraded interior and infotainment, and standard all-wheel drive.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a standard AMG Line exterior on the six-cylinder GLE 450 and a new Manufaktur Edition.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest used-market mix of price relief, inventory, and updated configuration choices, the 2025 is the primary path to shop. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value play, while the 2026 is worth watching if you want the newest styling and special-edition appeal.
