Used 2025 Lincoln Aviator for Sale nearCedar Rapids, IA

How much does the 2025 Lincoln Aviator cost?

Prices have softened 12.63% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 934 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2025 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Lincoln Aviator earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

The Aviator stands out in the midsize, three-row luxury SUV segment by leaning into traditional American luxury and mid-century modern cues while still presenting itself as a calm, unhurried sanctuary. It is also described as distinctive without being polarizing, which helps if you want a luxury SUV with a more restrained personality.

The tradeoffs are clear: poor fuel economy, poor ride quality on 22-inch wheels, and cramped third-row seats. Even so, the combination of fresh styling, new thematic packages, and advanced technology makes it compelling if you value comfort and sophistication over sporty dynamics.

Good and great deals percentage: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Aviator’s reliability case is helped by its calm, composed mission and its strong ownership package. It is positioned as a quiet luxury SUV with a twin-turbo V6, and the expert evaluation describes it as a solid choice with impressive safety ratings and modern technology.

Its performance content also points to a powertrain that is strong and straightforward: the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 delivers 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque through a 10-speed automatic transmission. That kind of established setup can be reassuring for used buyers who want a conventional gasoline powertrain rather than a more complex alternative.

On the ownership side, the Aviator includes complimentary valet pick-up and drop-off service for scheduled maintenance, which adds convenience to the long-term experience.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the same features that make it appealing — advanced tech, large wheels on some trims, and a premium feature set — can also make upkeep and repair costs more consequential if the vehicle has been neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lincoln Aviator?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim and option packages advertised. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important if the SUV has the larger wheel setup, since ride quality and road harshness are more noticeable there.

Focus on cabin condition, third-row usability, and whether the tech and driver-assistance systems operate as intended. Because this is a luxury SUV with a lot of standard and available equipment, you want to make sure the features you’re paying for are actually present and working.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label each bring a different mix of luxury and equipment, and the base trim is the one most likely to leave you wanting more if you care about the Aviator’s richer feature set.
• Powertrain: The sole engine is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and offered with rear- or all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 is standard, with active blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, intersection assist, evasive steering assist, reverse braking assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, and BlueCruise with a complimentary four-year subscription.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13.2-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in, Alexa Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and over-the-air capability through Lincoln Digital Experience.
• Fuel efficiency: The official EPA fuel economy rating is 20 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 Lincoln Aviator trim should I buy?

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator is offered in 3 trim levels: Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Premiere: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Aviator’s core luxury-SUV character with the standard twin-turbo V6, the large digital displays, and the full safety suite. It makes sense if you want the Aviator experience at the lowest starting price, but it is the trim most likely to feel light on extras compared with the richer upper trims.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds a more upscale feel without jumping all the way to the top of the range. The test vehicle’s Reserve II Package showed how much this trim can gain, including upgraded exterior lighting, 30-way-adjustable Perfect Position front seats with massage, heated and ventilated second-row seats, a 28-speaker Revel Ultima audio system, and 22-inch wheels.
• Black Label: This is the most luxurious choice, and it is the one to consider if you want the Aviator at its most premium. It also comes with 22-inch wheels, so you should be especially mindful of ride quality if you prioritize comfort over appearance.

BlueCruise is standard across the lineup, and the safety content makes clear that Lincoln’s driver-assistance package is a major part of the Aviator’s appeal.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lincoln Aviator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, compare, and negotiate.

• Deal availability: 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 934 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.63% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $59,179, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $59,179 sits slightly below last year's $67,734.

That decline suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can make the Aviator easier to purchase now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect pricing pressure if the broader market stays soft.

The good news is that the Aviator’s strong equipment, luxury positioning, and advanced technology help support demand. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Lincoln Aviator safe?

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator earns five-star ratings across the board from NHTSA, plus a four-star rating for rollover resistance. It also earns Good ratings in all completed IIHS evaluations.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 suite includes active blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, intersection assist, evasive steering assist, reverse braking assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, and BlueCruise. BlueCruise is standard and includes a complimentary four-year subscription, which adds hands-free driving assistance on approved highways.

One caveat is that reverse braking assist can be overly sensitive in some situations, and blind-spot warnings on the head-up display require the turn signal to be activated first.

Should I buy a 2025 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds fresh styling, new thematic packages, and some of the segment’s most advanced technology.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It leans more heavily into refinement and a more luxurious step-up feel.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger value proposition, the 2025 is the better place to start because pricing has softened and inventory is healthy. If your priority is a newer-feeling luxury experience and you’re willing to pay more for it, the 2026 is the alternative to keep in mind.
