Why it stands out
The 2025 Lexus TX stands out as a roomy three-row luxury SUV that was designed to be the “just-right” option between Lexus’ larger, truck-based approach and its smaller, less accommodating three-row alternative. It offers six- and seven-passenger seating, with just two seatbelts in the third row and optional captain’s chairs in the second row. Even though it is technically a midsize SUV, it has 33.5 inches of third-row legroom and 20.2 cubic feet of cargo space with all rows upright, which helps explain why it feels more practical than many luxury rivals.
What makes the 2025 Lexus TX especially distinctive is the breadth of its powertrain lineup and the amount of thoughtful equipment built into the cabin. It offers gas, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains, and standard features include a 14-inch touchscreen with the Lexus Interface infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, three-zone automatic climate control, seven USB ports, LED headlights and foglights, a hands-free power liftgate, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and ambient lighting. Available features include a panoramic glass roof, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a head-up display, ventilated front seats, power-folding third-row seats, second-row captain’s chairs, a 21-speaker Mark Levinson premium surround sound system, and level 2 hands-free Traffic Jam Assist.
The 2025 model also benefits from Lexus’ emphasis on safety and comfort. All TX models come standard with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, including a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, dynamic radar cruise control, lane tracing assist, lane departure alert with steer assist, an emergency driving stop system, road sign assist, and proactive driving assist. Its strengths are a spacious interior, a comfortable and quiet cabin, and impressive technology, while its drawbacks include polarizing front styling, the fact that only the base trim offers seven seats, and aggravating steering wheel controls.

Reviewed a 2025 Lexus 350 Premium AWD on Nov 27, 2025
Great car! Extremely comfortable with a great ride. The 4 cylinder is okay. The car is no drag racer but you can get up to speed quick enough not to be dangerous. This is our first Lexus coming from a BMW. I was always told Lexus was top of the line for bells and whistles in a vehicle. I can say that is not true! My biggest issue is that you have to touch the door handle to lock the car when you exit. There is no automatic locking when exiting. Very annoying! I would recommend this vehicle!
