How much does the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover cost?

Is the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover a good car?

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover earns a 7.67/10 expert rating, and its strongest scores are in look and feel and performance. The model scores 10/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

That lines up with the Range Rover’s core appeal: it blends refinement, style, standard all-wheel drive, and genuine capability into a luxury SUV that feels special rather than merely practical. It also offers multiple powertrain options and competitive interior space and towing capacity, so you can tailor it to different priorities.

The trade-offs are real, though. The user interface is a weak point, and the model is called out for poor value for money.

With 35.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover reliable?

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover is presented as a highly capable, refinement-focused luxury SUV, but it also carries the kind of complexity that can make ownership more demanding than a simpler vehicle. Its powertrain lineup is broad, and the available plug-in hybrid adds flexibility for buyers who want more than one way to configure the SUV.

The performance content emphasizes that the Range Rover uses an eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive across its powertrains, with a well-tuned suspension that helps it feel composed on the road and capable off it. The cost-effectiveness content also notes a four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty and roadside assistance coverage.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this is still a high-end, highly complex SUV, so ownership costs and repair exposure can be substantial if maintenance history is weak.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Land Rover Range Rover?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a vehicle this expensive and feature-rich. Focus on overall condition, evidence of careful maintenance, and whether the technology and driver-assistance systems work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: SE models come standard with 21-inch wheels, while Autobiography and SV models get standard 22-inch wheels. The long-wheelbase three-row model is only available as an SE or Autobiography, while the two-row long-wheelbase Range Rover is only available in Autobiography or SV spec.
• Powertrain: The entry-level turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with mild hybrid assistance makes 395 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque, and it can also be had as a plug-in hybrid with 543 hp and 406 lb-ft. A BMW-sourced twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 is also available, making 523 hp and 553 lb-ft in SE and Autobiography models and 606 hp and 553 lb-ft in SV form.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, a driver attention monitor, adaptive cruise control with steering assist, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera system. Land Rover doesn’t offer anything more sophisticated, but everything that is available is standard.
• Infotainment: All models come with a 13.7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13.1-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and a 35-speaker Meridian audio system with active noise cancellation is available on Autobiography and SV models.
• Fuel efficiency: The base turbo-six is rated at up to 21 mpg combined, while V8 models are rated at 19 mpg combined in standard tune and 18 mpg combined in SV spec. The plug-in hybrid offers an EPA-rated 53 miles of electric range.

Which 2025 Land Rover Range Rover trim should I buy?

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover is offered in 3 trim levels: SE, Autobiography, and SV.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Range Rover experience with standard 21-inch wheels and access to the standard-wheelbase lineup. It makes the most sense if you want the core luxury and capability without pushing into the highest price tiers.
• Autobiography: This is the best-value trim if you want a richer feature set and more flexibility, since it’s available across more body-style combinations than SV and gets standard 22-inch wheels. It’s the trim to target if you want the sweet spot between equipment and price.
• SV: This is the top-spec choice for buyers who want the most powerful V8 tune and the most exclusive version of the Range Rover. It’s the right pick if you’re prioritizing maximum performance and prestige over value.

Land Rover notes that the long-wheelbase three-row model is only available as an SE or Autobiography, while the two-row long-wheelbase Range Rover is only available in Autobiography or SV spec.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Land Rover Range Rover?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,072 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $112,848, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover's resale value?

The current average of $112,848 sits slightly below last year's $135,866.

That decline suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you negotiate more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim, since the model’s desirability is balanced by its high ownership costs and luxury pricing.

If you keep the vehicle well maintained and avoid neglecting expensive systems, you’ll be in a better position to protect value later. If you buy at the right price now, the softer market can help offset some of the Range Rover’s usual depreciation pressure.

Is the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover safe?

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover’s safety content does not include published IIHS or NHTSA crash-test ratings.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, a driver attention monitor, adaptive cruise control with steering assist, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera system. Land Rover doesn’t offer anything more sophisticated, but everything that is available is standard.

The main caveat is that the Range Rover’s parking aids can be overly sensitive, and the camera view does not always appear automatically when needed, which can make low-speed maneuvering more cumbersome than it should be.

Should I buy a 2025 Land Rover Range Rover or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.94% compared with last year.
• The 2025 model’s expert summary says changes are limited to some reshuffling of options, so you’re getting the same core strengths without a major redesign.

The bottom line: If you want the current Range Rover formula and you find a well-kept example at a strong price, the 2025 is the straightforward choice. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth cross-shopping, but the 2025 already benefits from softer pricing and strong inventory, so it’s a sensible place to start.
