How much does the 2025 Land Rover Discovery cost?

Is the 2025 Land Rover Discovery a good car?

The 2025 Land Rover Discovery stands out as a three-row midsize SUV that blends luxury with real off-road ability. It leans toward a more modern and comfortable feel while still remaining far more capable off pavement than most owners will ever need.

For your use case, that makes it appealing if you want a luxury SUV with genuine all-terrain credibility, improved on-road manners, and a more upscale cabin than its rugged roots might suggest. The tradeoff is that it still carries some compromises, including weak performance, poor on-road handling, and infotainment that can be slow and distracting.

36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Land Rover Discovery reliable?

The 2025 Land Rover Discovery is presented as a refined, capable SUV with improved on-road manners and added technological assistance for off-roading. It also keeps the standard four-wheel-drive setup and a luxury-oriented cabin that makes it easier to live with than earlier versions.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a vehicle with this kind of complexity can be costly if you inherit neglected maintenance or unresolved electronic and drivetrain issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Land Rover Discovery?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific listing matches its advertised condition and equipment. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you plan to use the SUV for towing, long trips, or off-road driving. Focus your condition check on the infotainment system, the third row, and any signs of wear that could point to harder use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Land Rover Discovery?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 533 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 97.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $53,735, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Land Rover Discovery's resale value?

The current average of $53,738 sits slightly below last year's $64,385.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future value, the best protection is to buy a clean, well-documented example at a strong price and avoid overpaying for cosmetic condition alone. A lower entry price today can help offset depreciation later, especially if you keep the vehicle in excellent shape.

Should I buy a 2025 Land Rover Discovery or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.54% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of this generation with a softer market and strong inventory quality, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2025 already gives you a favorable mix of availability, condition, and pricing pressure.
