Used 2025 Kia Telluride for Sale nearPhoenix, AZ

How much does the 2025 Kia Telluride cost?

Prices have softened 11.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,517 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Kia Telluride a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Kia Telluride earns 4/5 from users and 8.2/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

It remains a strong fit if you want a family-friendly, midsize three-row SUV that feels stylish and capable, with a cabin built for long-distance travel. The trade-offs are aging technology and an irritating lane-assist system, and sticky brakes can add frustration in heavier traffic.

The market also looks fairly accessible, with 38.3% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Kia Telluride reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Telluride’s appeal is reinforced by its reputation for comfort, style, and road-trip ability, and the expert evaluation also highlights a smooth, refined V6 and a well-rounded driving experience. Kia’s long warranty coverage adds another layer of confidence for ownership.

The main long-term risk for used buyers is that its aging technology and driver-assist quirks may be more noticeable as the vehicle ages.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Kia Telluride?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a thorough inspection, especially if you’re shopping outside the cleanest listings. Focus on overall condition, because the Telluride’s strengths are tied to comfort, tech, and safety equipment that you’ll want working properly.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes LX, S, EX, SX, and SX Prestige. The base LX is the least expensive, while higher trims add more upscale cabin materials and more advanced tech, and the X-Line and X-Pro versions bring standard AWD plus extra capability-oriented hardware.
• Powertrain: Every version uses a 3.8-liter V6 with 291 horsepower and an eight-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard on LX, S, EX, and SX, while AWD is standard on the X-Line and X-Pro versions and available on S, EX, and SX.
• Safety package: Drive Wise includes forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, intersection assistance, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, and safe exit assist. Highway Driving Assist is standard on every trim, and higher trims add lane-change assist.
• Infotainment: SX and SX Prestige trims get a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen under one piece of glass, plus a 10-inch head-up display on SX Prestige. The Telluride does not have wireless Apple CarPlay or wireless Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: The road-trip result of 20.2 mpg aligns with the EPA rating of 20 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2025 Kia Telluride trim should I buy?

The 2025 Kia Telluride is offered in 5 trim levels: LX, S, EX, SX, and SX Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the entry point, but it still gets a generous safety suite and the core Telluride formula. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and can live without the richer tech and luxury touches found higher up.
• S: This trim adds a step up in equipment while staying below the more expensive versions. It’s a sensible middle-ground choice if you want more than the base model without stretching too far.
• EX: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it sits in the sweet spot between price and equipment. It’s also the starting point for the X-Line and X-Pro packages, which broaden capability if you want them.
• SX: This trim brings the more advanced digital cockpit setup, including the 12.3-inch driver display and 12.3-inch touchscreen. Choose it if you want a more modern-feeling cabin without going all the way to the top.
• SX Prestige: This is the luxury-leaning choice, adding the 10-inch head-up display and the most comprehensive equipment. It suits you best if you want the most upscale Telluride experience.

Higher trims also add lane-change assist to the standard Highway Driving Assist system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Telluride?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,517 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.41% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,912, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Telluride's resale value?

The current average of $36,085 sits slightly below last year's $40,732.

That decline suggests buyers have more negotiating room now than they did a year ago. For a future seller, it also means the market has already adjusted downward, so condition and equipment will matter a lot when it’s time to resell.

Because the Telluride still has strong demand and broad family appeal, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than less popular SUVs. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Kia Telluride safe?

The 2025 Kia Telluride earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Kia’s Drive Wise suite includes forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, intersection assistance, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, and safe exit assist. Highway Driving Assist is standard on every trim, and higher trims add lane-change assist.

The main caveat is the lane-centering system, which can be argumentative on curving roads and may require you to switch it off if it bothers you.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Telluride or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the stylish, road-trip-friendly formula while adding strong safety ratings and a well-rounded cabin.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $34,749, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $36,085 average.
• It is especially well suited to family life and offers strong style, space, and value.

The bottom line: If you want the newer market position and current-year inventory, the 2025 is the better default choice. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
