Used 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid for Sale nearRochester, MN

How much does the 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 6.70% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 332 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Form and function.

The Carnival Hybrid adds a hybrid powertrain to an already strong family-hauler formula, and the update also brings refreshed styling and tech aimed at keeping it competitive in the minivan segment. It stands out for being fuel-efficient, spacious, and notably good to drive for a minivan, which makes it appealing if you want practicality without giving up refinement or handling.

The main trade-offs are that the second-row seat arrangement is awkward and all-wheel drive is not available. Even so, the market signal is healthy, with 47.6% of listings priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Carnival Hybrid’s appeal starts with its efficient hybrid setup and continues with Kia’s strong warranty coverage, which helps reduce ownership anxiety. It also benefits from a package that feels well-rounded rather than experimental, since the hybrid system is paired with a familiar minivan layout and a broad set of standard features.

The powertrain is described as similar to the one used in the Kia Sorento Hybrid, and the vehicle is presented as an already-impressive package with the hybrid system enhancing it further. Kia also backs it with a five-year/60,000-mile new car warranty and a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is that a complex family vehicle can be costly if prior maintenance or repairs were neglected, so condition and service history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re shopping higher-mileage examples or a vehicle with lots of family-use wear. Focus on seat condition, interior controls, and how the second row functions in real use, since that’s one of the model’s known compromises.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Carnival Hybrid skips the base LX trim level of the gasoline model, leaving LXS, EX, SX, and SX Prestige grades. The LXS is the entry point, while the higher trims add more premium cabin details and equipment; the top SX Prestige trim level also gets standard Star Map taillights.
• Powertrain: The hybrid setup pairs a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a single electric motor and a six-speed automatic transmission. It makes 242 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, and it is front-wheel drive only.
• Safety package: Forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking are standard, along with blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, a driver attention monitor, automatic high beams, safe exit assist, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality. SX and SX Prestige models add junction crossing and lane-change assist, plus Highway Driving Assist 2, a 360-degree camera system, and a blind-spot camera system.
• Infotainment: A 12.3-inch touchscreen is standard, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, and over-the-air updates. SX and SX Prestige models also get a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
• Fuel efficiency: The Carnival Hybrid is rated at 33 mpg combined, 34 mpg city, and 31 mpg highway.

Which 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid is offered in 4 trim levels: LXS, EX, SX, and SX Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• LXS: This is the entry point, and it gives you the hybrid powertrain plus the core Carnival Hybrid package at the lowest price. It’s the trim to consider if you want the hybrid efficiency story without stretching for extras.
• EX: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds meaningful comfort and convenience upgrades without jumping all the way to the top of the range. It’s a smart middle ground if you want more equipment but still care about price.
• SX: This trim brings a more premium feel and adds features like the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, plus more advanced driver-assistance and camera tech. It suits you if you want a richer daily-driving experience.
• SX Prestige: This is the most upscale version, with the most premium cabin presentation and the fullest feature set. It’s the one to choose if you want the most refined Carnival Hybrid experience and are willing to pay for it.

SX and SX Prestige models also come standard with Highway Driving Assist 2, a 360-degree camera system, and a blind-spot camera system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid?

It’s a favorable time to shop because pricing has softened and a meaningful share of listings are marked as good or great deals.

• Deal availability: 47.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 332 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.70% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,143, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $40,143 sits slightly below last year's $43,025.

That price movement suggests the market has become more buyer-friendly, which can help you get in at a better value today. For a future seller, the softer starting point may limit near-term upside, but it also means you’re less likely to overpay at purchase.

The Carnival Hybrid’s strong mix of efficiency, space, and driving refinement should help it stay appealing to family buyers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid safe?

The 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid does not have updated crash-test ratings available yet.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Kia’s standard driver-assistance suite includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, a driver attention monitor, automatic high beams, safe exit assist, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality. SX and SX Prestige models add junction crossing and lane-change assist, plus Highway Driving Assist 2, a 360-degree camera system, and a blind-spot camera system.

The main caveat is that updated safety ratings were not available at the time of publication, so you should weigh the standard equipment carefully and pay extra attention to trim-level differences if safety tech matters most to you.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 47.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 model year adds the hybrid powertrain, refreshed styling, and updated tech features to the Carnival lineup.

The bottom line: If you want the Carnival with the added efficiency of the new hybrid powertrain, the 2025 is the clear target year. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a different year may be worth comparing, but the 2025 gives you the most complete version of this formula with strong market availability and softened pricing.
