Used 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S for Sale nearSanta Barbara, CA

How much does the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S cost?

Prices have softened 27.20% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 193 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S a good car?

With a 1/5 user rating and an expert rating of 5.00/10, the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S looks promising on paper but lands as a mixed used-EV choice in practice. The model scores 6/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

It stands out as Jeep’s first all-electric vehicle, and the design takes a conservative approach that may appeal if you want an EV that does not shout about its power source. The quick acceleration and upscale stereo are real positives, but the overall package is uneven.

Cons: Poor ride quality, unimpressive electric range, and numerous technical glitches.

If you want an EV with a familiar SUV shape and some premium touches, this can fit that brief, but the rough edges are hard to ignore. Only 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than broadly bargain-heavy.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S reliable?

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S is described as a vehicle that misses the mark by a noticeable margin, and the review raises concern about how thoroughly it was tested before production. The performance notes also point to awkward throttle response, clunky low-speed behavior, and a ride that can feel unsettled over broken pavement.

The infotainment and driver-assistance systems add to that concern, with slow responses, glitches, and false alerts showing up in testing. The review also notes that the adaptive cruise control can brake too early and too hard in traffic, which is the kind of behavior that can make daily use frustrating.

For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about software, calibration, and overall polish than simple mechanical durability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a thorough test drive, especially if you plan to rely on the driver-assistance systems or the infotainment setup every day. Pay close attention to ride quality, brake feel, screen responsiveness, and whether the vehicle behaves smoothly at low speeds and during stop-and-go driving.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Limited trim is the more accessible version, while the Launch Edition adds more output and quicker acceleration. The base setup already includes a digital instrument panel, twin touchscreens, and a premium-feeling cabin, but the optional Comfort Package adds the more upscale audio and passenger-screen features.
• Powertrain: Both trims use a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup. The Limited makes 500 horsepower and 624 pound-feet of torque, while the Launch Edition increases output to 600 hp and 617 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, front and rear parking sensors, automatic high beams, a traffic sign reader, and a hands-free highway driving system. The optional Comfort Package adds a head-up display.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a smaller climate touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and over-the-air-style convenience is not described. The optional Comfort Package adds a 10.25-inch passenger screen.
• Range & charging: The 100-kWh battery is estimated at 294 miles of range, and DC fast charging can go up to 203 kW, with a 10-to-80 percent charge taking about 23 minutes.
• Battery health: On a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm how the vehicle has been charged, and review the remaining battery warranty coverage before you buy.

Which 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S trim should I buy?

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S is offered in 2 trim levels: Limited and Launch Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Limited: This is the better-value choice if you want the Wagoneer S experience at the lower entry price. It still gives you the dual-motor AWD setup, strong standard tech, and the full suite of driver-assistance features, so you are not giving up the core EV hardware.
• Launch Edition: Choose this if you want the extra output and quicker acceleration. It is the more performance-focused version, but the review still points to the same ride, range, and software frustrations, so the added speed is the main reason to step up.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 193 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 27.20% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,072, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S's resale value?

The current average of $34,072 sits slightly below last year's $46,802.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may pressure future resale values if you own one for only a short time. If you plan to sell later, the current pricing trend means you should expect depreciation to remain a meaningful factor.

For a future seller, the upside is that today’s lower entry price may make the vehicle easier to move than when it was new. The downside is that a soft market now can limit how much value you recover later unless demand improves.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S safe?

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S has not yet published crash test results from NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard advanced safety features include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, front and rear parking sensors, automatic high beams, a traffic sign reader, and a hands-free highway driving system that combines cruise control and lane-keep assist.

The review also flags a few caveats: the adaptive cruise control can brake too early and too hard in traffic, and the alert chimes can be overly eager without clear visual explanations. If you are shopping used, make sure those systems behave the way you expect during a test drive.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 27.20% compared with last year.
• This year’s review highlights quick acceleration and an impressive stereo, but also serious ride, range, and software concerns.

Consider the 2024 if:

• The earlier model is the stronger pick if you want the more ambitious first-year EV with more than 300 miles of range.

The bottom line: If you want the lower used price and can live with the same core drawbacks, the 2025 is the easier buy to justify. If you are shopping mainly for range and a more convincing first-year EV impression, the 2024 is the better path.
