Used 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S for Sale nearFond du Lac, WI

How much does the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S cost?

Prices have softened 28.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 193 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S a good car?

With a 1/5 user rating and an expert rating of 5.00/10, the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S is a mixed proposition rather than a broadly convincing one.

The model scores 6/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

It does have some strengths: the design is intentionally conservative for an EV, the cabin feels more upscale than its price might suggest, and the standard tech list is broad. But the expert review also points to major drawbacks, including poor ride quality, awkward low-speed behavior, and technical glitches that undermine the experience.

The Wagoneer S is aimed at shoppers who want a mainstream-looking electric SUV with strong straight-line performance and a familiar cabin layout, but the execution is uneven enough that it feels less polished than rivals. With 31.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you do have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S reliable?

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S shows promising hardware on paper, but the expert review raises real concerns about day-to-day dependability.

The review describes the vehicle as plagued by fundamental missteps, with numerous technical glitches and inconsistent behavior from key systems. It also notes that the ride is stiff and the regenerative-braking setup can feel awkward, which suggests the vehicle may not yet be fully sorted for long-term use.

For used buyers, that means you should be especially cautious about software behavior, charging consistency, and how smoothly the vehicle operates in routine driving. If you plan to keep it for years, unresolved electronic or control-system issues could be the biggest ownership risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car has not had any hidden damage, even if the listing looks clean. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important here because the expert review points to technical glitches and inconsistent system behavior. Focus your walkaround and test drive on how the screens, driver-assistance features, charging behavior, and ride quality feel in real use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Limited trim is the more accessible version, while the Launch Edition adds more output and a quicker zero-to-60 time. The base setup already includes a digital instrument panel, twin touchscreens, wireless smartphone integration, and a standard audio system, so the main question is whether you want the extra performance and equipment of the higher trim.
• Powertrain: Both trims use a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup. The Limited makes 500 horsepower and 624 pound-feet of torque, while the Launch Edition increases output to 600 hp and 617 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts, front and rear parking sensors, automatic high beams, a traffic sign reader, and a hands-free highway driving system. The optional Comfort package adds a head-up display.
• Infotainment: Standard equipment includes a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a smaller climate touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, OTA-style convenience is not mentioned, satellite radio, a wifi hotspot, and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system.
• Range & charging: The battery pack is 100 kWh, estimated range is 294 miles, and DC fast charging can reach 203 kW, with a 10 to 80 percent charge taking about 23 minutes.
• Battery health: On a used EV, you should ask for charging history, check whether the battery has been fast-charged heavily, and confirm that the battery still behaves normally at both home charging and DC fast charging. You should also verify how much of the battery warranty remains.

Which 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S trim should I buy?

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S is offered in 2 trim levels: Limited and Launch Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Limited: This is the better-value choice if you want the Wagoneer S experience at the lower entry point. It already brings the dual-motor AWD setup, strong standard tech, and the full safety suite, so you are not giving up the core identity of the vehicle.
• Launch Edition: Choose this if you want the more powerful version and are willing to pay for the extra performance. It is the quicker, more expensive trim, but the review still points to the same ride and software shortcomings, so the upgrade is mainly about output rather than a fundamentally better driving experience.

The standard safety package is broad, but the review also notes that some advanced systems can behave inconsistently, so test those features carefully on any trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough softness in pricing to reward patience.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 193 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.09% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,668, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S's resale value?

The current average of $33,668 sits slightly below last year's $46,822.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If depreciation continues at this pace, future sellers may need to price aggressively to stay competitive.

For you, that means the Wagoneer S may make more sense as a short- to medium-term purchase if you can get it at the right discount. A lower entry price today can soften the blow of future depreciation, but it also signals that the market is still cautious about this model.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S safe?

The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S has not yet been rated by NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard advanced safety features include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, front and rear parking sensors, automatic high beams, a traffic sign reader, and a hands-free highway driving system that combines cruise control and lane-keep assist.

The expert review also flags problems with the driver-assistance systems, including overly aggressive braking in traffic and false alert chimes without clear visual explanations. That means you should test the safety tech carefully before you buy, especially if you expect to rely on it regularly.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.09% compared with last year.
• The 2025 review highlights quick acceleration and an impressive stereo, but also warns about major software and ride-quality issues.

Consider the 2024 if:

• The 2024 is the more polished first-year launch with more than 300 miles of claimed range and a stronger overall debut impression.

The bottom line: If you want the lower current price and are comfortable being selective, the 2025 can make sense. If you want the stronger all-around first-year impression, the 2024 is the safer alternative.

How does the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S compare to the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe?

Expert Pros & Cons (per CarGurus review team)

2025 Jeep Wagoneer S:

• Pros: Quick acceleration, Impressive stereo.
• Cons: Poor ride quality, Unimpressive electric range, numerous technical glitches.

2025 Chevrolet Tahoe:

• Pros: Brilliant diesel engine, Huge touchscreen upgrade, High towing capacity.
• Cons: Tight cargo space with all rows in place, Thirsty V8 engines.

Our experts score the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S 5/10 and the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe 7.7/10. The Wagoneer S is the quicker and more modern-feeling EV, but its ride quality, range, and glitches hold it back. The Tahoe looks like the stronger all-around choice if you want towing ability, a more proven powertrain, and a better expert score. If you value electric driving and can live with the Wagoneer S's flaws, it has a narrower appeal; if you want the more complete package, the Tahoe is the easier recommendation.
