How much does the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 12.50% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,403 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

It blends Jeep’s traditional off-road identity with a more premium, mainstream-friendly feel, so you get a vehicle that can serve as both an everyday SUV and a capable trail-ready option. The lineup also spans from fairly basic entry models to much more luxurious versions, which gives you room to match the vehicle to your budget and feature needs.

With 37.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of opportunities to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Grand Cherokee is described as a relatively new SUV with modern technology and a premium cabin available on higher trims, which supports confidence in day-to-day use. Its straightforward powertrain lineup also keeps the ownership picture simpler than some earlier versions of the same generation.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying extra for higher trims without getting the condition or equipment level you expected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the listing’s background and verify that the title and service history line up. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim example with more equipment to evaluate. Focus on overall condition, feature operation, and signs of wear that could matter more on a newer SUV with premium content.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,403 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.50% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,400, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $35,400 sits slightly below last year's $40,460.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more efficiently today but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key advantage is that the Grand Cherokee still has broad appeal thanks to its mix of comfort, capability, and premium positioning.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2026 if:

• A new turbo-four, updated styling, and a bigger touchscreen modernize the SUV.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want a newer Grand Cherokee at a softer price and value the current formula. If you’re more focused on the latest updates and can stretch for a newer model, the 2026 is the better secondary path; if you’re price-sensitive, the 2025’s lower average price makes it the smarter buy.
