How much does the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 12.60% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,341 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is the user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2025 Grand Cherokee blends Jeep’s traditional off-road identity with a more premium, mainstream-friendly feel, and it offers a wide range of trims from basic to luxurious. It also gives you multiple four-wheel-drive setups, including systems with a low range and an available height-adjustable air suspension, so it fits both everyday comfort and real trail use. With 39.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Grand Cherokee’s straightforward powertrain lineup and relatively new model-year status support a reassuring ownership profile for used buyers. Its mix of comfort, capability, and modern technology also suggests it should remain appealing if you keep up with routine maintenance. For used shoppers, the main long-term risk is paying extra for higher-trim equipment without getting a cleaner or better-maintained example in return.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re serious about, even when the market looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the four-wheel-drive system, suspension, and cabin electronics, since those are the kinds of features that can matter most on a Grand Cherokee. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim vehicle with more equipment to verify.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,341 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.60% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,586, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $35,586 sits slightly below last year's $40,717.

That price drop can work in your favor if you buy now, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well you preserve the vehicle’s condition and trim appeal. A lower entry price can help reduce depreciation pressure, especially if you avoid overpaying for options that don’t hold value as well. Strong demand for a well-kept Grand Cherokee should help support resale, particularly for examples with desirable equipment and clean history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.60% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2026 if:

• A refreshed turbo-four, bigger touchscreen, and updated styling make it feel more modern.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2025 is the stronger primary choice because pricing has eased and the market still offers plenty of inventory to compare. If you’re more interested in the newest updates and can stretch for a newer model, the 2026 is the secondary path to consider.
