How much does the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 8.40% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,292 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview shows a midsize SUV that blends Jeep capability with a more premium feel, and it offers a wide range of trims that can suit both budget-focused shoppers and buyers who want more luxury and technology. That flexibility makes it appealing if you want a family SUV that still keeps real off-road hardware in the mix. With 37.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a model built around Jeep’s familiar formula of capability, premium touches, and multiple trim choices, which can be a good sign for buyers who want a proven, mainstream SUV with extra versatility. Its broad configuration range means you should pay close attention to how a specific example was equipped and maintained, since the shopping experience can vary a lot from one listing to another. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is ending up with a poorly maintained or heavily optioned example that costs more to keep in top shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the seller’s description, especially on trim and equipment. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin, electronics, and any available four-wheel-drive hardware so you know the vehicle’s premium features are working as intended. Because the lineup spans basic to upscale versions, condition and equipment level matter a lot when you compare one used Grand Cherokee to another.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,292 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.40% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,462, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $31,462 sits slightly below last year's $34,346.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give you better entry pricing today, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well your vehicle is equipped and maintained. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who paid closer to the higher end of the recent range. Strong condition and desirable equipment should help you stand out when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want a Grand Cherokee with strong owner satisfaction, good inventory depth, and a softer price than last year. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 gives you a strong balance of value and availability.
