Used 2025 Jeep Gladiator for Sale nearCedar Rapids, IA

How much does the 2025 Jeep Gladiator cost?

Prices have softened 14.35% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,382 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Jeep Gladiator a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Jeep Gladiator earns a 5/5 user rating and a 5.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

It stands out because it blends pickup-truck utility with open-air driving and serious off-road ability, so you get a truck that feels different from the usual midsize formula. The trade-off is that it is not built for refinement-first shoppers: the expert review calls out poor fuel economy and notes that towing and payload capability are limited relative to the truck’s broader positioning.

The model also fits you best if you value a fun driving experience and want something that can handle rough terrain without losing its everyday truck basics. Good and great deals account for 37.2% of listings, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Jeep Gladiator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Gladiator’s appeal is reinforced by its durable, purpose-built character and its ability to deliver the kind of open-air, off-road-focused ownership experience that many shoppers seek in this segment. The expert review also points to a truck that is engineered for capability rather than plushness, which can be a plus if you want a vehicle built around a clear mission.

Jeep includes complimentary scheduled maintenance during the first two years of ownership, and you also get 24-hour roadside assistance for the duration of the powertrain warranty. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the truck’s capability-first design comes with compromises you should verify carefully before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Gladiator?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck has been used off-road or modified. Focus on overall condition, signs of hard use, and whether the equipment on the truck matches the trim you think you are buying.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport trim is the one with the strongest towing and payload figures, while the Mojave X and Rubicon X add leather seats and plenty of standard equipment. The base Sport also now has standard power windows and door locks, and the lineup includes the basic Sport, the value-rich Nighthawk, the dull Sport S, the rugged Willys, and the Rubicon off-roader.
• Powertrain: You get a single 3.6-liter V6 with 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard 4WD. The Gladiator is tuned for capability and adventure, but the review notes that the engine lacks punch at higher speeds.
• Safety package: Starting with the Sport S, the Gladiator has forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control with full-stop capability. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is unavailable on the Sport and Nighthawk, and it is an extra-cost option on every other trim level except the Mojave X and Rubicon X.
• Infotainment: Every 2025 Gladiator has a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, and eight speakers. Navigation adds Jeep Connect services, a WiFi hotspot, Alexa Built-in technology, and integrated Off-Road Trail Guides.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says every version should get 19 mpg combined, and the test truck returned 16.2 mpg over nearly 275 miles of driving.

Which 2025 Jeep Gladiator trim should I buy?

The 2025 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 8 trim levels: Sport, Nighthawk, Sport S, Willys, Rubicon, Mojave, Mojave X, and Rubicon X.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the trim to watch if you care most about the Gladiator’s core utility, because the strongest towing and payload figures apply here. It is also the trim that now gets standard power windows and door locks, making it the most straightforward entry point.
• Nighthawk: This trim sits above the base model and is part of the lineup for shoppers who want a little more equipment without jumping straight to the more expensive off-road or luxury-leaning versions.
• Sport S: This is the first trim with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control with full-stop capability, so it is the key safety step-up if you want more standard driver assistance.
• Willys: This trim is the rugged choice for buyers who want a more trail-ready personality without going all the way to the top-end models.
• Rubicon: This is the off-roader in the lineup, so it is the trim to target if your priority is serious trail use.
• Mojave: This is the desert runner of the lineup and suits you if you want the most specialized off-road character.
• Mojave X: This is the best-value choice if you want the Mojave’s capability plus more comfort and convenience, including heated power front seats, a heated steering wheel, upgraded interior materials, expanded infotainment features, leather upholstery, and a premium sound system.
• Rubicon X: This is the upscale Rubicon choice, adding leather seats and plenty of standard equipment for buyers who want the off-road trim with more luxury.

Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is unavailable on the Sport and Nighthawk, and it is extra-cost on every other trim level except the Mojave X and Rubicon X.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Gladiator?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough price softness to create opportunities.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,382 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.35% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,775, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Gladiator's resale value?

The current average of $39,775 sits slightly below last year's $46,437.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at a strong price and keep the truck in clean condition, you may be better positioned than someone who buys near the top of the range.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Jeep Gladiator safe?

The 2025 Jeep Gladiator earns a four-star frontal-impact rating from NHTSA and a three-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 3/10 safety score from our experts.

The Gladiator is light on safety systems, and some features are not even available on certain trim levels. Starting with the Sport S, it has forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control with full-stop capability, but blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is unavailable on the Sport and Nighthawk and costs extra on every other trim level except the Mojave X and Rubicon X.

The review also notes that the Gladiator does not earn top safety ratings, which is a meaningful caveat if safety tech is a priority for you. If you want the most complete safety setup, you should focus on the higher trims that make more driver-assistance equipment standard.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Gladiator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.35% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 model loses its manual transmission and adds a few special-edition models along with new paint colors.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,018, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $39,775 average.
• It offers the same open-air appeal with minor styling revisions and added comfort and convenience features.

The bottom line: If you want the newest pricing data and a broader current-market selection, the 2025 is the cleaner starting point. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2024 is the better value path, especially if you are comfortable giving up the latest model-year updates.
