Used 2025 INFINITI QX80 for Sale nearSanta Cruz, CA

How much does the 2025 INFINITI QX80 cost?

Prices have softened 11.43% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 837 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used QX80s to compare.

Is the 2025 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 INFINITI QX80 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

The QX80 is positioned as Infiniti’s de facto flagship, and its redesign gives you a fresh identity with a focus on interior space and tech gadgets over driving dynamics. That makes it a strong fit if you want a large luxury SUV with a modernized cabin and a lot of equipment.

The trade-offs are clear: fairly pedestrian performance and poor ride quality. Poor fuel economy is another drawback, so you should expect comfort-oriented luxury and space rather than engaging road manners.

With 40.4% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2025 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The QX80’s redesign brings a new powertrain and updated tech features, which helps it feel more current than the previous version. Its body-on-frame construction and large luxury-SUV mission suggest a vehicle built for durability-minded buyers who want a traditional full-size layout.

The twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 and nine-speed automatic replace the old V8 and seven-speed setup, and the new drivetrain gives the QX80 more energy when pulling away from a stop. Infiniti also says the new frame improves torsional stiffness and lateral stiffness, which supports the sense of a more substantial redesign.

Infiniti’s warranty coverage adds some peace of mind for new-vehicle buyers, but as a used shopper you should still pay close attention to service history and overall condition because this is a large, complex luxury SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 INFINITI QX80?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific truck you’re considering has a clean maintenance record. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important on a large luxury SUV like this, where suspension, electronics, and interior features can be expensive to sort out later. Focus on condition, feature operation, and signs of hard use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Pure models are the entry point and come with 20-inch wheels, leatherette upholstery, and a steel-sprung suspension, while higher trims add 22-inch wheels, more upscale seating materials, and air suspension. The base trim is the one most likely to leave you wanting more comfort and premium feel.
• Powertrain: The redesigned QX80 uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with 450 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic. Standard rear-wheel drive and optional four-wheel drive continue, and the new setup is meant to feel more energetic than the outgoing V8.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, and a trailer blind-spot warning system. ProPilot Assist 1.1 adds adaptive cruise control and automated lane centering, while ProPilot Assist 2.1 on Luxe, Sensory, and Autograph models adds hands-free driving and automated lane changes.
• Infotainment: You get dual 14.3-inch screens, a 9-inch center touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Google built-in apps. A head-up display is available, and the system also supports a range of camera views and available audio upgrades.
• Fuel efficiency: Infiniti estimates 18 mpg combined, 16 mpg city, and 20 mpg highway with rear-wheel drive, or 17 mpg combined, 15 mpg city, and 19 mpg highway with four-wheel drive.

Which 2025 INFINITI QX80 trim should I buy?

The 2025 INFINITI QX80 is offered in 4 trim levels: Pure, Luxe, Sensory, and Autobiography.

Here's the short version:

• Pure: This is the entry point, and it gives you the redesigned QX80 experience with the new styling, twin 14.3-inch screens, Google built-in apps, and standard safety features. It’s the value play if you want the new-generation QX80 without paying for the more luxurious hardware.
• Luxe: This is the best-value trim if you want a more complete luxury experience, because it adds leather seats for the first and second rows and brings in the more advanced ProPilot Assist 2.1 system. It also moves you into the air-suspension setup that better matches the QX80’s comfort-first mission.
• Sensory: This trim adds semi-aniline leather for the first and second rows, a 24-speaker Klipsch system, and standard four-wheel drive. It makes sense if you care most about cabin richness and upgraded audio.
• Autobiography: This is the top trim, with semi-aniline leather across all three rows, the 24-speaker Klipsch system, and the most upscale presentation in the lineup. Choose it if you want the most luxurious QX80 and are willing to pay for it.

ProPilot Assist 2.1 is available on Luxe, Sensory, and Autobiography models.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 INFINITI QX80?

This is a buyer-friendly moment if you’re shopping carefully, because pricing has eased and there’s enough inventory to compare options.

• Deal availability: 40.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 837 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.43% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $71,363, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 INFINITI QX80's resale value?

The current average of $71,501 sits slightly below last year's $80,731.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward from earlier pricing, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper near-term resale expectations if you plan to sell soon. The current range also shows that well-priced examples can move quickly, especially when they land near the lower end of the market.

For a future seller, the key is to buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, because large luxury SUVs tend to reward clean history and desirable equipment. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 INFINITI QX80 safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, and a trailer blind-spot warning system that works with trailers up to 33 feet in length.

The QX80 is also available with ProPilot Assist highway-driving assistance. The basic 1.1 version combines adaptive cruise control with automated lane centering, while the more advanced ProPilot Assist 2.1 version on Luxe, Sensory, and Autobiography models adds hands-free driving and automated lane changes.

Should I buy a 2025 INFINITI QX80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.43% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 redesign brings new styling, a new powertrain, and updated tech features.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a new Sport trim level.

The bottom line: Buy the 2025 if you want the redesigned QX80 at a softer used-market price and with strong inventory depth. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2025 is the better target because the market has already moved down from last year and there are plenty of listings to compare.
