You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the car’s actual condition and equipment. If a listing looks especially strong on price, make sure the condition supports it before you move quickly.

The current average of $35,457 sits slightly below last year's $38,349.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. A clean history and strong presentation should matter more when you eventually list it.

Should I buy a 2025 INFINITI QX50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.54% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is a sensible choice if you want a newer model year with a softer price environment and a decent number of clean listings to choose from. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, asking price, and deal quality.
