Used 2025 Hyundai Palisade for Sale nearPortland, ME

How much does the 2025 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 17.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,390 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and a 9/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

It fits well if you want a roomy, mainstream three-row SUV with a strong mix of styling, technology, and packaging. The Palisade’s appeal is that it has aged well and still feels competitive in the midsize three-row SUV class, even as a redesigned version is on the way.

Good and great deals account for 39.9% of listings, which suggests you can still find worthwhile examples if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Palisade’s reliability case is helped by Hyundai’s steady improvements to the SUV’s styling, technology, and packaging, along with a powertrain that is described as smooth and refined in operation. The ownership package also adds value through ten years or 100,000 miles of powertrain coverage, a five-year/60,000-mile standard warranty, five years/unlimited miles of roadside assistance, and complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this is the outgoing version, so you should weigh condition and maintenance history carefully against the strong warranty-backed ownership story.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with more equipment. Focus on cabin condition, electronics, and signs of hard family use, since this is a three-row SUV that may have seen heavy daily duty.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SE trim level already has a clean, modern, and uplevel look and feel, while higher trims add more premium materials and luxury cues. The most expensive versions bring premium leather, artificial suede, seat piping, and metal speaker grilles.
• Powertrain: Every Palisade uses a 3.8-liter V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. It’s smooth and refined, but not especially fuel-efficient.
• Safety package: Hyundai SmartSense includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Highway Driving Assist. The SEL adds an ultrasonic rear occupant alert system, and the XRT adds front parking sensors and a surround-view camera.
• Infotainment: The Palisade uses a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a cable, so wireless versions are not included.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says the Palisade averages 22 mpg in combined driving, or 21 mpg with AWD.

Which 2025 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 7 trim levels: SE, SEL, XRT, SEL Premium, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, but it still delivers the Palisade’s clean design and roomy three-row packaging. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and don’t need the extra equipment found higher up.
• SEL: This is the first meaningful step up because it adds the ultrasonic rear occupant alert system. It’s a smart middle-ground choice if you want more family-focused safety tech without jumping to the pricier trims.
• XRT: This trim adds front parking sensors and a surround-view camera, giving you more parking help and a bit more substance. It’s a good fit if you value convenience features and want a more equipped feel.
• SEL Premium: This trim brings Blind Spot View Monitor, evasive steering assist, and several lane-change assist functions. It’s the best-value choice if you want a stronger safety and driver-assistance upgrade without going all the way to the luxury trims.
• Limited: The Limited doesn’t improve on the SEL Premium, so it’s mainly for shoppers who find its equipment mix or pricing appealing.
• Calligraphy: This is the upscale pick, with automatic braking when parking and Remote Smart Parking Assist. Choose it if you want the most premium-feeling Palisade and the most advanced parking convenience.
• Calligraphy Night Edition: This is the style-focused top-end version, building on the Calligraphy’s upscale character with a darker appearance.

The standard safety suite is broad, and the SEL Premium is the trim where the safety equipment becomes especially compelling.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, but the best listings can still move quickly.

• Deal availability: 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,390 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.56% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,242, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $34,242 sits slightly below last year's $41,535.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim appeal rather than broad market momentum alone.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2025 Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick from IIHS in earlier testing, but a Poor result in the moderate overlap frontal-impact test kept it from repeating that honor in 2025. It earns five-star frontal impact and four-star rollover resistance ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai SmartSense is the standard driver-assistance suite, and it includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Highway Driving Assist. The SEL adds an ultrasonic rear occupant alert system, the XRT adds front parking sensors and a surround-view camera, the SEL Premium adds Blind Spot View Monitor plus evasive steering assist and lane-change assist functions, and the Calligraphy adds automatic braking when parking and Remote Smart Parking Assist.

The weak point is the IIHS frontal-impact result, so you should pay close attention to crash history and overall condition when shopping used.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 adds more standard equipment on the XRT and reshuffles the SEL Premium into a trim level.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $33,196, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $34,242 average.
• It combines distinctive design with upscale materials and thoughtful amenities.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It is a redesigned three-row SUV with broader powertrain choice and improved overall execution.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, equipment, and current-market availability, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your budget is tighter, the 2024 can save you money while still delivering the Palisade’s core strengths.

How does the 2025 Hyundai Palisade compare to the 2025 Kia Telluride?

Our experts score the 2025 Hyundai Palisade 9/10 and the 2025 Kia Telluride 8.2/10. The Palisade has the stronger expert score and a slightly better deal share, while the Telluride starts a bit cheaper and has a slightly higher city MPG figure. Both use the same engine and deliver the same highway MPG, so your choice comes down more to pricing, inventory, and which cabin/package you prefer.
