Is the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 6 a good car?

The 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 6 stands out as a midsize electric sedan with a quirky fastback design, mainstream affordability, and available premium features. It also has a reputation for strong range and quick charging, and it was described as the best choice among the three model years.

For used-car shoppers, that makes it especially appealing if you want an EV sedan with more than 300 miles of all-electric range and a value-oriented price profile compared with crossover alternatives. The tradeoffs are its polarizing design and limited cargo space, so it fits you best if style, range, and charging speed matter more than maximum practicality.

30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a moderate amount of market opportunity.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 6 reliable?

It also has the highest predictive reliability score, the fewest recalls and complaints logged on the NHTSA website, and it has worked out early software bugs.

For long-term ownership, you should still budget attention for recall-related repairs and verify that any open issues have been addressed before you buy.
