How much does the 2025 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have softened 3.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 7,088 listings available, which suggests you should have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda CR-V earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its excellent fuel efficiency, comfortable interior, and top-notch tech features, and the handling and performance also come through as standout positives. That fits the CR-V’s role as a practical compact crossover for small families and commuters who want space, comfort, and everyday ease. With 40.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a solid chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes reliability-adjacent strengths such as a comfortable, easy-to-live-with cabin and efficient operation, which are the kinds of traits shoppers often associate with dependable ownership. The CR-V’s reputation for reliability and value is reinforced by the way owners respond to it overall. For used buyers, that usually means lower worry about long-term ownership risk if you focus on well-kept examples.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda CR-V?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and confirm that the vehicle has no hidden damage or title issues. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on overall condition, especially the interior, electronics, and signs of wear that could affect long-term satisfaction. Since the CR-V is often chosen for comfort and practicality, make sure the example you pick still feels clean, well maintained, and consistent with that reputation.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda CR-V?

Yes — this looks like a buyer-friendly market, with meaningful deal availability and a price trend that has moved in your favor.

• Deal availability: 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 7,088 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.85% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,982, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $30,982 sits slightly below last year's $32,222.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the market holds up. If you keep the vehicle in strong condition and avoid accident history, you should be in a better position when it comes time to sell. The CR-V’s broad appeal and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the current CR-V formula at a price that has eased from last year and you value strong owner satisfaction. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2025 gives you a compelling mix of deal availability, clean inventory, and broad appeal.
