How much does the 2025 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have softened 4.19% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,540 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda CR-V earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to very strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise its excellent fuel efficiency, comfortable interior, and top-notch tech features. The model’s easy-to-learn controls and practical packaging also fit well if you want a compact crossover that prioritizes everyday usability over flash. If you’re shopping for a dependable, efficient, and well-equipped small SUV, this one lines up well with that use case.

With 33.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with reliability and comfort showing up as recurring strengths. That kind of response matters if you want a vehicle you can count on for daily driving and long-term use.

For used buyers, the main risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about the condition of the specific example you choose.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda CR-V?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report so you can confirm the car’s background and spot any hidden issues. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing has higher mileage or incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, including interior wear, tire life, brake condition, and how well the tech and safety features operate.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda CR-V?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,540 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.19% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,612, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $31,624 sits slightly below last year's $33,009.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle, but it also suggests future resale gains may be more gradual than in a rising market. If you plan to sell later, the CR-V’s broad appeal should help support demand, especially because shoppers in this segment tend to value practicality, comfort, and efficiency. A well-kept example with strong equipment and clean history should remain easier to move than a less desirable trim or a rougher-condition vehicle.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version in this range and value strong owner satisfaction, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby older year may be worth a look, especially if you can find a cleaner example with similar equipment at a lower asking price.
