Used 2025 Genesis GV80 for Sale nearFayetteville, NC

How much does the 2025 Genesis GV80 cost?

Prices have softened 15.59% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,901 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2025 Genesis GV80 a good car?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 earns an 8/10 expert rating and is positioned as a stylish luxury SUV with a refreshed interior and exterior, plus a more sophisticated cabin presentation.

The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

It also brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, standard all-wheel drive, and upscale materials that help it feel more premium than before. The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and seats that are far from comfortable, so you should weigh the luxury presentation against everyday comfort and efficiency. With 38.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Genesis GV80 reliable?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 is described as a strong contender in the luxury crossover space, and Genesis keeps the same powertrain for this model year while updating the design and technology. That continuity can be reassuring if you want a familiar mechanical setup rather than a major redesign under the skin.

The performance notes point to a proven layout: a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or a twin-turbocharged six-cylinder, both paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive. The GV80 also comes with a strong warranty, including 5 years/60,000 miles of basic coverage and 10 years/100,000 miles on the powertrain, which helps reduce ownership anxiety.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is that the SUV’s comfort and efficiency compromises may matter more over time than its upscale presentation.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Genesis GV80?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific listing matches the equipment you want, since some desirable features move up the trim ladder. A pre-purchase inspection is especially worthwhile if you care about seat condition, electronics, or whether the vehicle has the convenience features you expect. Focus on overall condition, because the GV80’s appeal depends heavily on how well the cabin and technology have been maintained.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base setup gives you the core luxury look and standard all-wheel drive, but higher trims add features like remote smart parking, a 360-degree camera system, and the blind view monitor. If you want the most complete feature set, you should look beyond the entry trim.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and a twin-turbocharged six-cylinder. The four-cylinder is the efficiency-minded choice, while the six-cylinder brings stronger output and a more satisfying feel.
• Safety package: Genesis Highway Drive Assist is standard, along with lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and an attention monitor. Upper trims add remote smart parking and a 360-degree camera system.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets a 27-inch OLED display with a digital gauge cluster and infotainment system, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wireless charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and four USB-C ports are also standard, while the Genesis digital key requires a higher trim.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder returns 19 mpg city, 24 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined, while the six-cylinder gets 16/22/19.

Which 2025 Genesis GV80 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 is offered in 5 trim levels: Standard, AWD, Select, Advance and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point if you want the GV80’s core luxury feel, standard all-wheel drive, and the main tech and safety features without stretching the budget.
• AWD: This is the best-value trim because it adds the features Genesis deleted from the lower setup, including a heated steering wheel, digital key, and spare tire.
• Select: Choose this if you want a step up in equipment without jumping all the way to the upper luxury trims.
• Advance: This is the right pick if you want the larger 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged engine, since that powertrain is available here and above.
• Prestige: Go here if you want the most upscale version, the strongest feature content, and the full luxury presentation.

Genesis Highway Drive Assist is standard, and upper trims add remote smart parking and a 360-degree camera system.

What is the 2025 Genesis GV80's resale value?

The current average of $49,418 sits slightly below last year's $58,545.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you get into the SUV at a better entry price. Well-kept examples with desirable features should hold up better than stripped or heavily used ones.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard equipment also includes lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert, while upper trims add remote smart parking and a 360-degree camera system. The blind view monitor is another useful feature, since it shows a video feed of the blind spot in the digital cluster when you signal.

Should I buy a 2025 Genesis GV80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.59% compared with last year.
• The 2025 update adds a redesigned look, richer interior materials, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $44,690, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $49,418 average.
• It remains a stylish, safe, and mostly rewarding midsize luxury SUV.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest styling, updated tech, and the strongest current shopping conditions, the 2025 is the better target. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable giving up the newest presentation, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
