Used 2025 Genesis GV80 for Sale nearBeaufort, SC

How much does the 2025 Genesis GV80 cost?

Prices have softened 16.14% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,902 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2025 Genesis GV80 a good car?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 earns an 8/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

It’s a stylish luxury SUV with a refreshed interior and exterior, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also keeps standard all-wheel drive, which adds everyday confidence and broadens its appeal if you want a luxury crossover that feels upscale without chasing the most expensive European alternatives.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and uncomfortable seats. It also leans more toward relaxed cruising than sporty driving, so if you want a sharper performance feel, this probably won’t be your first pick.

With 40.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you a decent chance to find a competitive price.

Is the 2025 Genesis GV80 reliable?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 is presented as a strong contender in the luxury crossover space, with a familiar powertrain and a design update rather than a risky mechanical overhaul. Its standard all-wheel drive and updated technology suggest a well-rounded ownership experience, and the expert evaluation describes it as a worthy competitor that deserves consideration.

The powertrain is carried over for 2025, which can be reassuring if you prefer a setup that’s already established. Genesis also backs the GV80 with a 5 year/60,000 mile basic warranty and a 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain guarantee, which helps reduce long-term ownership anxiety.

Genesis also says the GV80’s Highway Drive Assist includes an attention monitor, and the system can be updated over the air. That said, the sunglass-related monitoring quirk means you should test the driver-assist setup yourself before buying.

For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is still the same one highlighted by the evaluation: you may be living with a thirsty SUV and seats that don’t suit everyone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Genesis GV80?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report, verify service records, and prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin and electronics. Pay close attention to seat comfort, infotainment behavior, and whether the driver-assistance features work the way you expect in real-world use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GV80’s design update brings a more sophisticated look, with quilted Nappa leather seats, available suede headliner, and distinctive interior accents on higher trims. Base trims may miss some of the richer materials and convenience features that make the cabin feel especially upscale.
• Powertrain: A 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, while the twin-turbocharged six-cylinder makes 375 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. Every trim gets all-wheel drive, and the larger engine is reserved for higher trims.
• Safety package: Genesis Highway Drive Assist is standard, along with lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and an attention monitor. Upper trims add remote smart parking and a 360-degree camera system.
• Infotainment: All trims get a 27-inch OLED screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and four USB-C ports. The digital key is reserved for a higher trim.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder engine is rated at 19 mpg city, 24 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined, while the six-cylinder returns 16/22/19.

Which 2025 Genesis GV80 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 is offered in 5 trim levels: Standard, AWD, Select, Advance and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point if you want the GV80’s core luxury feel at the lowest price, but you’ll be giving up some convenience features that appear on higher trims.
• AWD: This is the best-value trim if you want the missing features restored, since Genesis says this step adds items like a heated steering wheel, digital key and spare tire.
• Select: This trim sits in the middle of the lineup and makes sense if you want more equipment without jumping all the way to the upper trims.
• Advance: This is where the larger 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged engine becomes available, so it’s the trim to target if you want more power.
• Prestige: This is the top choice if you want the most upscale version of the GV80, including the richest equipment and the larger engine option.

Genesis Highway Drive Assist is standard across the lineup, and upper trims add remote smart parking and a 360-degree camera system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Genesis GV80?

The market looks favorable if you’re shopping now, with a meaningful share of listings priced competitively and a strong supply of accident-free examples.

• Deal availability: 40.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,902 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.14% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $49,185, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Genesis GV80's resale value?

The current average of $49,199 sits slightly below last year's $58,667.

That drop suggests the GV80 has become more attractive to used buyers, which can make it harder for a future seller to command top dollar. If you buy now, you’re benefiting from softer pricing, but you should also expect resale values to reflect the same downward pressure unless demand strengthens.

For a seller, the upside is that the GV80 still has strong luxury appeal and a well-equipped feature set. The downside is that the current market is already pricing in a meaningful year-over-year decline, so holding out for a premium may be difficult.

Is the 2025 Genesis GV80 safe?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 has not yet been rated by either IIHS or NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Genesis Highway Drive Assist is standard, and it includes lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and an attention monitor. Upper trims add remote smart parking and a 360-degree camera system, and the blind view monitor can show a video feed of the blind spot in the digital cluster when you signal.

One caveat to keep in mind is that the attention monitor can be finicky with some tinted sunglasses, though Genesis says an over-the-air fix should address it. You should test the system yourself if driver-assist tech is a priority.

Should I buy a 2025 Genesis GV80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.14% compared with last year.
• The 2025 adds a redesigned look, richer interior materials, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $44,593, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $49,199 average.
• It offers a stylish, safe, and mostly rewarding luxury SUV experience.

The bottom line: If you want the fresher cabin, updated styling, and wireless phone integration, the 2025 is the better pick. If your priority is saving money and you’re comfortable giving up the refresh, the 2024 remains a smart value play.
