How much does the 2025 Ford Escape cost?

Prices have softened 16.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,969 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2025 Ford Escape a good car?

The 2025 Ford Escape sits in a moderate buyer's market, with pricing and inventory that give you room to compare options carefully. The market shows 36.4% of listings as good or great deals, which is a meaningful share if you're shopping selectively.

That deal availability, combined with broad inventory, means you can focus on condition and price rather than rushing into the first acceptable listing. The market also shows 36.4% of listings as good or great deals.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Escape?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify service records before you commit. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the listing price is near the top of the range or the vehicle has higher mileage. Focus on overall condition, since a clean history does not replace a careful check of wear, maintenance, and any signs of prior damage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Escape?

This is a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you have enough inventory to shop carefully without feeling pressured.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,969 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.08% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,108, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Escape's resale value?

The current average of $23,108 sits slightly below last year's $27,535.

That lower price level can help you buy with less upfront exposure, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward. If you plan to resell later, your future value will depend heavily on how well you preserve condition and mileage. A clean history and strong maintenance record should matter more when the market is already pricing in softness.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Escape or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.08% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $22,806, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $23,108 average.
• It offers familiar comfort, multiple powertrains, and strong technology.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model year and are shopping in a market with meaningful deal availability, the 2025 is the cleaner primary path. If your priority is saving money and you want a slightly lower entry price, the 2024 is the better secondary path to compare closely.
