How much does the 2025 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 12.66% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,616 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford Bronco earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

It stands out by pairing throwback styling and retro design touches with the hardware of a modern off-roader. It is also more comfortable on streets and highways than the Jeep Wrangler, which broadens its appeal beyond trail use. The trade-offs are clear: it requires serious compromises as a daily driver, has poor fuel economy, and advanced safety features are not standard.

The model’s 34.4% good-or-great deal share suggests there are still worthwhile listings if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Bronco’s appeal is strongest for buyers who want an SUV that feels adventurous and distinctive rather than conventional. The expert review also describes it as an extremely fun vehicle that is a blast to drive on-road and off, while still noting that it asks for compromises in everyday use. Its performance hardware and broad range of variants support that reputation for capability.

The Bronco’s long-term ownership risk for used buyers is mainly tied to its daily-driver compromises and running costs rather than a lack of appeal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has been used off-road. Focus on tire wear, suspension condition, and signs of hard use, since this model is built for adventure and may have seen more demanding driving than a typical SUV.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model looks pretty drab and is available in both two- and four-door body styles, while the Big Bend is only a little more expensive and is worth the upgrade for most buyers. The Outer Banks adds LED lighting and a more upscale feel, the Heritage leans harder into retro styling, the Badlands brings a classier interior, and the Stroppe Edition and Raptor sit at the top for buyers who want the most extreme capability.
• Powertrain: Most models use either a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or an optional turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6. The four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while the V6 increases output to 330 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: Co-Pilot360 is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims. It includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.
• Infotainment: You get a 12-inch touchscreen with Sync 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a seven-speaker audio system with a subwoofer. A second 12-inch digital gauge cluster is standard across the lineup.
• Fuel efficiency: The base four-cylinder with a manual transmission is rated at 18 mpg city, 21 mpg highway and 19 mpg combined. The automatic adds 1 mpg to combined and highway fuel economy, while the Raptor is rated at 15 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Bronco is offered in 7 trim levels: base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Heritage, Badlands, Stroppe Edition, Raptor.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it looks pretty drab and leaves Co-Pilot360 as an option rather than standard. It makes sense only if you want the lowest starting point and plan to add packages carefully.
• Big Bend: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it is only a little more expensive than the base model and makes Co-Pilot360 standard. It also opens the door to useful packages and keeps the Bronco’s core personality intact.
• Outer Banks: This trim adds LED lighting and can be equipped with a turbocharged V6 engine, making it a better fit if you want a more polished daily driver feel.
• Heritage: This is the choice if you want the strongest retro look, and it bundles the Sasquatch package as standard equipment.
• Badlands: This is the trim to choose if you want more serious off-road hardware, including bigger tires, an upgraded suspension package, and a classier interior.
• Stroppe Edition: This two-door-only model is marketed as race-ready and is aimed at buyers who want a more specialized, desert-focused Bronco.
• Raptor: This is the most extreme Bronco, with an ultra-wide body kit, huge tires, and dramatically lifted suspension.

Co-Pilot360 is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers who are willing to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,616 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.66% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,674, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $46,801 sits slightly below last year's $53,587.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more selectively now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on trim, condition, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Well-equipped Broncos with desirable packages should hold more appeal than stripped or heavily used examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2025 Ford Bronco earns Good ratings from the IIHS in small overlap front, moderate overlap front, and updated side-impact crash tests, and it earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and three-star ratings in rollover testing from NHTSA.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford does not make Co-Pilot360 standard on the base trim, which means advanced driver assistance is not part of every Bronco right away. The suite is standard on the Big Bend and higher trims, and it includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. Post-collision braking, hill-start assist, and hill-descent control are standard even on the base model.

The IIHS also gave the headlights a Marginal rating, which is a notable weak spot to keep in mind.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It pairs retro styling with modern off-road hardware and a wider range of variants.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $43,898, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $46,801 average.
• It adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a 60th Anniversary Package on the Outer Banks model.
• It keeps the Bronco’s retro styling and open-air appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current inventory, softened pricing, and broad trim choice, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your budget is tighter, the 2024 is the better value play, while the 2026 makes sense if you want the anniversary-package updates.

How does the 2025 Ford Bronco compare to the 2025 Jeep Wrangler?

Expert Pros & Cons (per CarGurus review team)

2025 Ford Bronco:

• Pros: Stylish design, Fun to drive, Impressive off-road capability.
• Cons: Poor fuel economy, Advanced safety features are not standard, Poor value for money.

2025 Jeep Wrangler:

• Pros: Fun to drive, Impressive off-roading capability, Removable top and doors.
• Cons: Noisy, Poor ride quality, Poor value for money.

Our experts score the 2025 Ford Bronco 6.8/10 and the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 5.3/10. The Bronco is the better pick if you want a more comfortable on-road experience and a broader range of variants. The Wrangler still has the edge if you prioritize removable top-and-doors freedom and a more traditional off-road setup. Both are compromised daily drivers, but the Bronco’s higher score reflects its stronger all-around balance.
