How much does the 2025 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 15.62% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,510 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford Bronco earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

The Bronco’s appeal comes from its throwback styling, modern off-road hardware, and broader everyday usability than some rivals. It is described as more comfortable on streets and highways than the Jeep Wrangler, while still delivering impressive off-road capability and a wide range of variants for different kinds of buyers.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and poor value for money. Advanced safety features are not standard, so you may need to shop carefully if you want more driver-assistance equipment.

Good and great deals account for 34.7% of listings, which suggests there are still some worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Bronco’s design and hardware point to a vehicle built for real trail use, not just appearance. Its standard four-wheel drive, two-speed transfer case, and off-road-focused equipment support that image, while the expert review also notes that it is more comfortable on pavement than some rugged rivals.

Its performance setup is described as strong and capable, with plenty of power for city and highway driving and off-road hardware that helps it get further off the beaten path. The cost-effectiveness commentary also notes that the Bronco is expensive and not very efficient, which matters if you plan to keep it for the long haul.

For used buyers, the biggest ownership risk is that a hard-used off-roader may have seen more wear than its mileage alone suggests.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has been used off pavement. Focus on signs of trail wear, suspension abuse, and any evidence that the removable roof or doors have not been maintained carefully.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model looks pretty drab, while the Big Bend is described as worth the upgrade for most buyers. The Heritage trim leans harder into the retro look, and the Badlands adds a classier interior along with more capability.
• Powertrain: The base 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while the optional 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 makes 330 hp and 415 lb-ft. The Bronco Raptor uses a unique, more powerful engine of its own.
• Safety package: Co-Pilot360 is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims. It includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.
• Infotainment: You get a 12-inch touchscreen with Sync 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a seven-speaker audio system. A second 12-inch digital gauge cluster is standard across the lineup.
• Fuel efficiency: The base four-cylinder with a manual transmission is rated at 18 mpg city, 21 mpg highway, and 19 mpg combined. The high-performance Bronco Raptor is rated at 15 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Bronco is offered in 7 trim levels: Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Heritage, Badlands, Stroppe Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Base: This is the entry point, but it looks pretty drab and leaves Co-Pilot360 optional. It makes sense only if you want the lowest starting point and plan to add equipment carefully.
• Big Bend: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it is only a little more expensive than the base model and makes Co-Pilot360 standard. It is the smart middle ground if you want a Bronco that feels better equipped without jumping too far up the price ladder.
• Black Diamond: This trim is the one to consider if you want the Black Diamond package content that unlocks the upgraded 4WD setup and pairs well with the Sasquatch package. It suits buyers who care more about capability than luxury.
• Outer Banks: This trim adds a more upscale feel, with available turbo V6 power and LED lighting. It is a better fit if you want a Bronco that leans more toward daily comfort and convenience.
• Heritage: This trim is for you if you want the strongest retro look, and it includes the Sasquatch package as standard equipment. It is a good choice if style matters as much as capability.
• Badlands: This is the most trail-focused mainstream trim, with bigger tires, an upgraded suspension package, and a classier interior. It is the right pick if off-road use is a priority.
• Stroppe Edition: This is the high-priced, race-ready two-door model with a distinctive desert-racing theme. It is best for buyers who want a special-edition Bronco with serious presence.

Co-Pilot360 is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

The market looks selective rather than overheated, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,510 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.62% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,691, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $46,966 sits slightly below last year's $55,661.

That price movement suggests the Bronco has cooled from its earlier peak, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later.

The Bronco’s strong enthusiast appeal and distinctive identity should help it stay desirable, especially in well-kept condition. Trim choice and equipment matter, though, because higher purchase prices can be harder to recover on resale.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2025 Ford Bronco earns top “Good” ratings from the IIHS in small overlap front, moderate overlap front, and updated side-impact crash tests, and it earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and three-star ratings in rollover testing from NHTSA.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims. It includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.

The Bronco’s headlights were rated “Marginal” by the IIHS, which is a notable weak spot to keep in mind. Post-collision braking is standard even on the base model, and hill-start assist plus hill-descent control are also standard.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It blends retro styling with modern off-road hardware and broader everyday comfort.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $44,182, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $46,966 average.
• It adds standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment and more modern cabin tech.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a 60th Anniversary package and more convenience features.
• It keeps the Bronco’s retro character while expanding available equipment.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current-market value and broad appeal, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your budget is tighter, the 2024 can save you money while still delivering the Bronco formula.

How does the 2025 Ford Bronco compare to the 2025 Jeep Wrangler?

Expert Pros & Cons (per CarGurus review team)

2025 Ford Bronco:

• Pros: Stylish design, Fun to drive, Impressive off-road capability.
• Cons: Poor fuel economy, Advanced safety features are not standard, Poor value for money.

2025 Jeep Wrangler:

• Pros: Fun to drive, Impressive off-roading capability, Removable top and doors.
• Cons: Noisy, Poor ride quality, Poor value for money.

Our experts score the 2025 Ford Bronco 6.8/10 and the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 5.3/10. The Bronco is the better pick if you want a more comfortable daily driver with strong off-road ability. The Wrangler still has the edge if removable top-and-door freedom is your top priority, but it gives up ride quality and refinement.
