How much does the 2025 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 16.49% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,877 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating, the 2025 Ford Bronco lands as a strong choice if you want character and capability over everyday polish. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

The Bronco’s appeal comes from its retro design, removable roof and doors, and broad range of variants, all of which make it easy to tailor to your needs. It is also described as more comfortable on streets and highways than the Jeep Wrangler, while still being extremely fun to drive.

The trade-offs are real: poor fuel economy and poor value for money are both called out, and advanced safety features are not standard. That makes it best for you if you care more about style, off-road hardware, and personality than low running costs or maximum practicality.

Only 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is somewhat selective rather than broadly discounted.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Bronco’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward rugged mission and the fact that it is built around real off-road hardware rather than novelty styling. Its performance setup includes a standard four-wheel-drive system with a two-speed transfer case, and the available advanced 4WD setup adds an Automatic mode for easier all-weather use.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that this is still a compromise-heavy SUV, so condition and maintenance history matter more than they would on a more conventional crossover.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the Bronco has been used off-road or fitted with larger tires and suspension upgrades. Focus on wear items that can reveal hard use, and pay close attention to the condition of the roof, doors, and underbody.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model looks pretty drab and is available in both two- and four-door body styles, while the Big Bend is only a little more expensive and is worth the upgrade for most buyers. The Outer Banks adds a more upscale feel, and the Heritage, Badlands, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor each push the Bronco further in style or capability.
• Powertrain: Most models use a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while an optional turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 increases output to 330 hp and 415 lb-ft. The Bronco Raptor gets a unique, more powerful engine, and the lineup includes both manual and automatic transmission choices.
• Safety package: Co-Pilot360 is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims. It includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. The base model still gets post-collision braking, hill-start assist, and hill-descent control.
• Infotainment: You get a 12-inch touchscreen with Sync 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a seven-speaker audio system with a subwoofer. A second 12-inch digital gauge cluster is standard across the lineup, and an upgraded Bang & Olufsen system with 10 speakers is available starting with Outer Banks.
• Fuel efficiency: The base four-cylinder with a manual transmission is rated at 18 mpg city, 21 mpg highway, and 19 mpg combined. The automatic adds 1 mpg to combined and highway fuel economy, while the Bronco Raptor is rated at 15 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Bronco is offered in 7 trim levels: base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Heritage, Badlands, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it looks pretty drab and leaves Co-Pilot360 optional. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and plan to add only the equipment you truly need.
• Big Bend: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it is only a little more expensive than the base model and is worth the upgrade. It also makes Co-Pilot360 standard.
• Outer Banks: This trim adds a more upscale feel, leather seating surfaces with front-row heat, a heated steering wheel, and available turbo V6 power. It suits you if you want comfort without jumping all the way to the more extreme trims.
• Heritage: This trim leans hardest into the retro look and includes the Sasquatch package as standard equipment. It is a good fit if style and off-road presence matter equally.
• Badlands: This is the choice for buyers who want more serious trail hardware, including bigger tires, an upgraded suspension package, and a classier interior. It also adds two extra drive modes.
• Stroppe Edition: This two-door-only model is marketed as race-ready and is aimed at buyers who want a more specialized, high-priced desert-running personality.
• Raptor: This is the top-end performance and capability choice, with an ultra-wide body kit, huge tires, and a dramatically lifted suspension. It is the one to buy if you want the most extreme Bronco.

Co-Pilot360 is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully but not so much discounting that every listing is a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,877 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.49% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,831, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $47,531 sits slightly below last year's $56,915.

That drop suggests the market has moved in your favor if you are buying now, but it also means future sellers may face more price pressure than owners did a year ago. The Bronco’s broad appeal and strong enthusiast following should help support demand, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2025 Ford Bronco earns Good ratings from the IIHS for its small overlap front, moderate overlap front, and updated side-impact crash tests, and it earns four-star ratings for frontal crash safety and three-star ratings for rollover testing from NHTSA.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford’s Co-Pilot360 suite is optional on the base trim and standard on the Big Bend and higher trims. It includes blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.

One caveat is that the Bronco’s headlights received a Marginal IIHS rating, and advanced safety features are not standard on the base model.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 adds a broad lineup with standard 12-inch screens and a wide range of variants.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $45,084, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $47,531 average.
• It adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest used Bronco with the strongest current-market pricing signals, the 2025 is the better default choice. If your priority is saving money and you still want the Bronco formula, the 2024 is the more budget-friendly path.
