Used 2025 Dodge Durango for Sale near Missouri

How much does the 2025 Dodge Durango cost?

Prices have softened 21.14% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 4,288 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango a good car?

The 2025 Dodge Durango earns a 7.17/10 expert rating, and its strongest category is Form and function at 9/10.

The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It remains a likable midsize three-row SUV with a roomy, comfortable, and practical interior, plus a modern infotainment system. The performance focus is still a major part of its appeal, especially if you want a three-row SUV with serious power and attitude.

The trade-offs are clear: it has an unquenchable thirst for fuel and a basic package of safety features.

With 38.7% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market still gives you room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango reliable?

The 2025 Dodge Durango is presented as an older design that has aged remarkably well, but its long run also means you should shop with care.

Its performance side is a major draw, and the available lineup still delivers strong powertrain choices with a modern eight-speed automatic. The Durango’s practical interior and comfortable seating help it feel usable day to day, even as the platform itself shows its age.

The safety and efficiency picture is less reassuring, so long-term ownership risk for used buyers is tied more to condition, maintenance history, and how the vehicle was driven than to age alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Dodge Durango?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re looking at a higher-mileage example or one with performance-oriented equipment. Focus on overall condition, signs of hard use, and whether the vehicle has been maintained consistently.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GT is the base model with a V6 engine and rear-wheel drive, while the SRT Hellcat adds a supercharged V8 engine and all-wheel drive. The cabin and exterior details become more upscale as you move up, but the base trim is the one most likely to feel stripped down compared with the higher-end versions.
• Powertrain: The lineup includes a 295-horsepower 3.6-liter V6, a 360-hp 5.7-liter V8, and a 710-hp supercharged 6.2-liter V8. All use an eight-speed automatic transmission, and AWD is standard on the V8 models.
• Safety package: The standard safety list includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Available upgrades add adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and front parking sensors.
• Infotainment: Every 2025 Durango gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, native navigation, SiriusXM 360L, Dodge Connect, SiriusXM Guardian, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, dual-phone Bluetooth pairing, Alexa compatibility, and wireless smartphone charging.
• Fuel efficiency: The SRT Hellcat is rated at 12/17/13 mpg in city/highway/combined driving.

Which 2025 Dodge Durango trim should I buy?

The 2025 Dodge Durango is offered in 3 trim levels: GT, R/T, and SRT Hellcat.

Here's the short version:

• GT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the V6, rear-wheel drive, and the core Durango experience at the lowest price. It makes the most sense if you want the model’s space and personality without paying for V8 power.
• R/T: This is the best-value choice if you want a stronger V8 without jumping all the way to the top-end Hellcat. It adds more muscle and keeps the Durango’s performance-first character intact.
• SRT Hellcat: This is the one for you if you want the full performance experience, including the supercharged V8, standard AWD, and the most aggressive hardware and equipment. It is the clear enthusiast pick, but it also brings the highest running costs.

The safety package is short by modern standards, so even higher trims don’t fully solve the Durango’s safety shortcomings.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Dodge Durango?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,288 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.14% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,677, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $33,677 sits slightly below last year's $42,706.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale value may be more sensitive to mileage, condition, and trim than it would be for a newer or more in-demand SUV.

If you plan to sell later, a well-kept example with strong service records should hold up better than one that shows wear from hard use. The Durango’s performance appeal can help it stand out, but the broader price trend points to a softer resale environment.

Is the 2025 Dodge Durango safe?

The Durango earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA, along with a three-star rollover resistance rating for AWD models.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard driver-assistance list includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Available upgrades add adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and front parking sensors.

The main caution is that the Durango’s small overlap frontal-impact performance is a concern, and its safety package is basic by modern standards.

Should I buy a 2025 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.14% compared with last year.
• It is the final-year Durango with a simplified lineup and strong performance focus.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the Durango’s old-school V8 appeal while remaining a relatively affordable three-row SUV.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of price, inventory, and final-year appeal, the 2025 is the better target. If you’re mainly chasing the Durango’s V8 personality and don’t mind shopping a newer model year, the 2026 is worth a look. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2025’s softer pricing makes it the more compelling path.
