Used 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV for Sale nearAlbuquerque, NM

How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV cost?

Prices have softened 8.40% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,579 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV a good car?

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV earns an expert rating of 6.5/10. The model scores 8/10 across Cost effectiveness and Safety.

It is built around affordability, comfort, and range, and it brings more than 300 miles of driving range to a price point that competes with non-electric SUVs. That makes it especially appealing if you want EV ownership to feel more attainable without giving up everyday usefulness.

The trade-offs are clear: it lacks typical EV performance and does not offer Apple CarPlay. Those compromises matter less if you value range, ride comfort, and practicality more than quick acceleration or smartphone integration.

With 43.2% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market still gives you room to shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV reliable?

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV is presented as a straightforward, practical EV that focuses on the basics buyers use every day. Its expert evaluation emphasizes comfort, range, and value, and the driving notes describe a smooth ride, confident braking, and generally dependable-feeling controls.

The performance notes also point to a calm, easygoing character rather than a complicated one, which can be a plus for long-term ownership. The standard setup includes a single electric motor with front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive adds a second motor if you want more traction and stronger acceleration.

Chevrolet also includes one-pedal driving and multiple regeneration settings, which can help you tailor how the vehicle behaves in daily use. On the cost side, the available federal EV tax credit can improve the ownership equation if you qualify.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about mechanical drama and more about whether the battery, charging habits, and software-related features have been cared for consistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on an EV where battery condition and charging behavior matter. Focus on how the car was charged, whether it spent most of its life on home charging or frequent DC fast charging, and whether the battery appears to hold range consistently.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LT is the economical choice, and it does not feel stripped out. The RS adds larger wheels, blacked-out styling elements, red interior accents, and a few added convenience and safety packages.
• Powertrain: The standard setup uses a single 220-horsepower electric motor with front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive adds a second motor for 300 hp and quicker acceleration.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, a blind-spot monitor with steering intervention, automatic high beams, and GM’s safety alert seat. Active Safety Package 2 adds a surround-view camera system with rear pedestrian alerts, while Active Safety Package 3 adds a semi-automated parking system and Super Cruise.
• Infotainment: You get a 17.7-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in and wireless charging availability, but no Apple CarPlay.
• Range & charging: The front-drive model is estimated at up to 319 miles of range, while AWD drops that to 307 miles. The battery pack is 85 kWh, DC fast charging peaks at 150 kW, and the system can add about 70 miles in roughly 10 minutes.
• Battery health: Check battery state-of-health, confirm the car’s charging history, and make sure the remaining battery warranty coverage still fits your ownership timeline.

Which 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV trim should I buy?

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV is offered in 2 trim levels: LT and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the best-value choice if you want the core Equinox EV experience without paying extra for appearance upgrades. It gives you the affordable entry point, strong range, and the standard equipment that makes the model appealing in the first place.
• RS: Choose this if you want the sportier look and the added convenience and safety packages that come with it. It is the more style-forward option, but the content does not suggest it delivers a major value advantage over the LT.

For safety-package shoppers, Active Safety Package 2 adds the surround-view camera system and rear pedestrian alerts, while Active Safety Package 3 adds semi-automated parking and Super Cruise.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV?

This is a favorable buyer’s market if you are shopping the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV.

• Deal availability: 43.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,579 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.40% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,229, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV's resale value?

The current average of $27,163 sits slightly below last year's $29,652.

That decline suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers and less favorable for sellers in the near term. If you plan to resell later, you should expect value retention to depend heavily on mileage, battery condition, and how well the car is equipped.

The good news is that the Equinox EV’s strong range and practical positioning should help it remain appealing to used shoppers. The downside is that price softness today can make future resale gains harder to count on if the broader EV market stays competitive.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV safe?

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV earns five-star ratings in its overall rating, frontal crash, side crash, and rollover protection from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

All models come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, a blind-spot monitor with steering intervention, automatic high beams, and GM’s safety alert seat. If you want more, Active Safety Package 2 adds a surround-view camera system with rear pedestrian alerts, and Active Safety Package 3 adds a semi-automated parking system plus Super Cruise.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 43.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.40% compared with last year.
• It emphasizes affordability, comfort, and more than 300 miles of range.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $25,292, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $27,163 average.
• It offers a dedicated EV design with a straightforward trim structure.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market mix of value, inventory, and pricing momentum, the 2025 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2024 is the more budget-friendly path.
