Is the 2025 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Buick Enclave earns a 4.5/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

The Enclave’s appeal is strongest if you want a three-row SUV with a modern, upscale feel and a broad set of standard equipment. Buick’s new design language, full redesign, and standard tech and safety features across all three trim levels make it feel well equipped from the start. The trade-offs are that the engine is noisy and unrefined, and the SUV sits on the expensive side.

Cons: Noisy and unrefined engine; on the expensive side.

Good and great deals percentage: 40.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2025 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Enclave’s reliability case is helped by its broad standard equipment and its focus on comfort and convenience, which can make day-to-day ownership feel straightforward. Buick also gives you a new powertrain and a fresh redesign for this model year, which supports the sense that the vehicle is built to meet modern expectations. The turbo engine is described as loud and less refined than you might want, so used buyers should pay close attention to how the powertrain sounds and feels on a test drive.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Buick Enclave?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific listing matches the equipment you want. A pre-purchase inspection is especially useful here because the Enclave’s value depends heavily on condition, trim content, and whether the features you expect are actually present. Focus on how the cabin, tech, and powertrain present in real-world use, since those are the areas that most shape ownership satisfaction.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Preferred trim gets standard 20-inch wheels, while the Sport Touring adds unique High Gloss Black wheel touches and a dedicated grille treatment. The Avenir stands apart with 22-inch wheels, a special finish, genuine leather, and standard panoramic power sunroof availability.
• Powertrain: Every trim uses a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are both offered, and fuel economy drops only slightly with AWD.
• Safety package: Buick’s standard driver-assistance suite includes blind-zone steering assist, intersection automatic emergency braking, traffic-sign recognition, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, HD Surround Vision, adaptive cruise control, and Teen Driver technology. Super Cruise is available on every trim, but it costs extra.
• Infotainment: You get a standard 30-inch curved display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, Google Built-In, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and two USB ports in each row. The Avenir adds a 16-speaker Bose Performance system that lower trims do not get.
• Fuel efficiency: AWD lowers combined fuel economy from 23 to 21 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Buick Enclave trim should I buy?

The 2025 Buick Enclave is offered in 3 trim levels: Preferred, Sport Touring, Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Enclave’s core appeal: the new design, the large curved display, wireless smartphone integration, and the standard safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting point and are comfortable skipping some of the nicer cabin upgrades.
• Sport Touring: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a more distinctive look without changing the Enclave’s basic formula. You get the same core tech and safety content, plus the sportier exterior treatment and a more upscale-feeling interior presentation.
• Avenir: This is the trim to choose if you want the most premium Enclave experience. It adds the top-end wheel design, genuine leather, the 16-speaker Bose system, and standard panoramic sunroof availability, making it the most fully equipped version.

Super Cruise is available on every trim, and it comes bundled with driver-attention assist and enhanced automatic park assist.

• Deal availability: 40.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,899 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.55% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,278, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $38,278 sits slightly below last year's $46,425.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, the key question is whether the Enclave’s strong equipment list and upscale positioning can keep demand steady as the model ages. If shoppers continue to value its standard tech and safety content, that should help support resale interest.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Super Cruise is available on every trim and adds driver-attention assist and enhanced automatic park assist. A head-up display is optional on all but the top trim, so you may need to move up if that feature matters to you.

Should I buy a 2025 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It brings a full redesign, a new powertrain, and standard tech and safety across all three trim levels.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It carries over unchanged after the 2025 redesign.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the Enclave with the strongest mix of standard equipment and current-market pricing, the 2025 is the better starting point. If you’re mainly shopping on price and don’t need the latest update, the 2026’s carryover status may make it worth comparing once listings and incentives are in front of you.
