Is the 2025 BMW iX a good car?

The 2025 BMW iX is a strong choice if you want a luxury electric SUV with a premium-market price that has come down meaningfully from last year. The current average price of $57,721 and the 36.6% share of good or great deals point to a market where value-minded shoppers can still find opportunities.

That combination makes it worth considering if you want a used luxury EV and are willing to shop carefully. The market also shows enough availability to give you room to compare listings and negotiate.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW iX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the car’s condition and equipment. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery-related systems, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and interior wear, since those areas matter most on a used EV. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings at similar prices.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW iX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, especially if you’re willing to compare listings and move quickly on the right one.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,061 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.98% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $57,721, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 BMW iX's resale value?

The current average of $57,721 sits slightly below last year's $81,273.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, the current pricing trend means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pain later.

Should I buy a 2025 BMW iX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 28.98% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds modest battery improvements and a more affordable entry-level model.

The bottom line:
The 2025 is the better primary path if you want the stronger value story right now, especially with prices down and a healthy share of deal listings. If you’re more price-sensitive and want the latest updates, the 2026 is worth a look, but the 2025 gives you the clearer buying opportunity today.
