Is the 2025 BMW XM a good car?
The 2025 BMW XM lands in a moderate market position, which makes it a reasonable choice if you want a high-end performance SUV and you’re comfortable shopping carefully. The listing market also shows 34.6% of available examples are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to find a competitive offer.
What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW XM?
Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific example you’re considering has a clean title and consistent ownership records. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings, and focus on overall condition, maintenance documentation, and any signs of cosmetic or mechanical wear.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW XM?
This looks like a moderate, selective-buyer market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings closely.
- Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 159 listings available.
- Clean inventory: 95.0% of listings are accident-free.
Should I buy a 2025 BMW XM or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2025 if:
- 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
The bottom line: If you want the current-year version and you find a well-kept example at a strong price, the 2025 is the straightforward path. If you’re more price-sensitive, it’s worth comparing nearby model years and focusing on the cleanest, best-documented vehicle rather than chasing the newest badge.
These recommendations are based on CarGurus' proprietary market data from September 29, 2026, CarGurus experts' opinions, and generative AI.
