How much does the 2025 BMW 4 Series cost?

Prices have softened 6.07% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,342 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare by trim, mileage, and condition.

Is the 2025 BMW 4 Series a good car?

The 2025 BMW 4 Series stands out for blending premium equipment with a distinctive design that is more dramatic than the related sedan it shares much of its hardware with. For you, that means the appeal is less about blending in and more about getting a luxury car with a stronger visual identity, plus a lineup that includes coupe, convertible, and Gran Coupe body styles.

It also comes with a long list of standard equipment, including LED headlights, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SensaTec upholstery, power front sport seats, a rear-view camera, adaptive cruise control, and satellite navigation. If you want a luxury car that feels special rather than conventional, the 4 Series fits that brief well.

36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is meaningful value in the market if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 BMW 4 Series reliable?

The 2025 BMW 4 Series is presented as a well-equipped luxury model with strong performance, a high-quality interior, and a long list of standard features. It also benefits from the 2024 facelift for the 2025 model year, which brought updated design details and an updated mild-hybrid system on the 430i.

For you, that points to a car that feels modern and polished rather than stripped down or outdated. Long-term ownership risk is still something to weigh carefully on a used luxury car, so a thorough maintenance history matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 BMW 4 Series?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any car you are seriously considering, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are looking at a higher-mileage example or a car with a complex option set. Focus on overall condition, service records, and signs of wear that match the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 BMW 4 Series?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,342 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.07% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $46,908, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 BMW 4 Series's resale value?

The current average of $47,473 sits slightly below last year's $50,542.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to give you more negotiating room today than a year ago. If you buy well now, you may be starting from a more favorable entry point than recent shoppers did. For a future seller, that also means resale will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is maintained.

Should I buy a 2025 BMW 4 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.07% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary choice if you want the updated look and equipment set, along with a market that still offers decent deal availability. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2025 gives you a strong mix of style, equipment, and current market softness.
