Used 2025 Audi S5 for Sale nearTacoma, WA

Is the 2025 Audi S5 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Audi S5 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.00/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

It is aimed at you if you want a luxury car that feels more exciting than ordinary, with a stealthy redesign, thrilling dynamics, and enough room for a family of four. The trade-offs are clear: the styling is uninspired, the highway ride can be noisy, and the driver assistance systems are unimpressive.

If you want a sporty daily driver that blends performance, comfort, utility, and modern tech, this S5 fits that brief well. Market availability is solid, with 34.5% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Audi S5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Audi S5 is presented as a refined, multi-talented sportback with strong performance and modern technology, which supports the case for solid day-to-day dependability. Its turbocharged V6, standard all-wheel drive, and well-integrated cabin tech suggest a car built to handle regular use with confidence.

Audi also includes a generous trial subscription to connected services, which adds some ownership value early on. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic durability and more about living with a car that can be loud on the highway and frustrating if you rely heavily on its driver-assistance tech.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi S5?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, even when the clean-inventory rate is this strong. Focus on cabin condition, wheel and brake wear, and whether the tech and driver-assistance systems behave as expected on a test drive.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige are the trims to compare. The base Premium already brings a wide set of driver-assistance features, while Premium Plus and Prestige add more convenience and parking tech. If you want the most complete equipment set, the Prestige is the one to target.
• Powertrain: The S5 uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 362 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission and standard Quattro all-wheel drive. It is quick, with a 0-60 mph time of 4.3 seconds, but fuel economy is only 22 mpg combined.
• Safety package: The standard suite includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic sign recognition, front and rear parking sensors, safe exit warning, and Emergency Assist. Premium Plus and Prestige add Adaptive Cruise Assist, which brings lane-centering, plus a surround-view camera system and Park Assist Plus.
• Infotainment: You get an 11.9-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit display and a 14.5-inch MMI touchscreen. Prestige adds a 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen, and the system supports wireless-style modern convenience through Audi’s connected-services setup and voice assistant. Premium Plus also adds a head-up display and a 20-speaker Bang & Olufsen system.
• Fuel efficiency: The S5 is rated at 22 mpg combined, and the test loop returned 21.8 mpg.

Which 2025 Audi S5 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi S5 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the trim to start with if you want the core S5 experience without paying for extras. It already includes the full standard driver-assistance suite, the turbo V6, Quattro AWD, and the new Audi Digital Stage setup, so you still get the important performance and tech pieces.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds Adaptive Cruise Assist, a surround-view camera system, Park Assist Plus, a head-up display, and the 20-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system. If you want the most noticeable upgrade in everyday convenience and tech, this is the sweet spot.
• Prestige: Choose this if you want the most fully loaded S5. It adds the passenger touchscreen, adaptive-damping sport suspension, and the same advanced parking and driver-assist upgrades as Premium Plus, making it the most upscale and feature-rich version.

Choose Premium Plus or Prestige for Adaptive Cruise Assist, which adds lane-centering assist, plus the surround-view camera system and Park Assist Plus.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi S5?

• Inventory: There are 148 listings available.
• Clean inventory: 98.0% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2025 Audi S5 safe?

The 2025 Audi S5 does not have a crash-test rating cited here, but it does come with a broad standard driver-assistance package.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2025 Audi S5 Premium includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic sign recognition, front and rear parking sensors, safe exit warning, and Emergency Assist. Premium Plus and Prestige add Adaptive Cruise Assist, which brings lane-centering, along with a surround-view camera system and Park Assist Plus.

The main caveat is that the lane-assist behavior can be intrusive and inconsistent, and the system can brake unexpectedly. If you want the most relaxed driver-assistance experience, this is an area to test carefully before you buy.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi S5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesigned S5 is a multi-talented sportback with performance, comfort, utility, and the latest technology.

The bottom line: If you want the newest S5 with the redesigned body, stronger tech, and the most up-to-date driving character, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, you can shop carefully and focus on the trims that give you the best mix of equipment and value, especially Premium Plus.
