How much does the 2025 Audi Q7 cost?

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q7 earns an expert rating of 7.3/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

You get a mid-size SUV with room for seven, standard all-wheel drive, and excellent handling characteristics, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for everyday convenience. The trade-offs are clear: the third row is cramped, and the advanced driver-assistance features lag behind the competition. The Q7 also asks you to accept a price that can climb quickly as you move up the trim line.

42.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q7 is presented as a second-generation model that has been around since 2017, which means you should expect a mature platform rather than a brand-new design. The expert review also points to strong driving dynamics and a peppy turbocharged powertrain, while noting that some of the car’s advanced driver-assistance features fall behind the competition.

The performance notes also suggest the Q7 is smooth and easy to drive in normal use, with firm brakes and confident all-wheel-drive behavior. For used buyers, that points to a vehicle that should feel familiar and polished, but one where you should pay close attention to the condition of the electronics, driver-assistance systems, and overall maintenance history before committing.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or a heavily optioned trim. Focus on the condition of the infotainment system, driver-assistance features, and interior wear, since those are the areas where luxury-SUV ownership can become expensive if something is off.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premium trim is the value play because the review team says it’s the best way to go, especially if you want to add the more potent engine without paying for the top trim. Higher trims add more equipment, but the source also says the price can skyrocket as you move up the line.
• Powertrain: The Q7 offers two engines: a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder with 261 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, and a 3.0-liter turbo V6 with 335 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque. The larger engine is the stronger choice if you want more punch.
• Safety package: The Q7 includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and self-parking capability. The source also notes that the lane-centering system is haphazard and that the ADAS suite trails the competition.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.1-inch center screen, a smaller lower screen for HVAC controls, a configurable digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the Audi App Store. The system also includes online navigation and traffic light information for three years.
• Fuel efficiency: The smaller engine is rated at 20 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined, while the larger engine is rated at 18 mpg city, 23 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined.

Which 2025 Audi Q7 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi Q7 is offered in 3 trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the trim the review team recommends as the best way to go, especially if you want to keep costs in check while still adding the more potent engine. It gives you the core Q7 experience without pushing you into the pricier upper end of the lineup.
• Premium Plus: This trim sits in the middle and is the natural step up if you want more equipment than the base model without going all the way to the top. It still benefits from the Q7’s strong handling and available engine choices.
• Prestige: This is the top trim, but the review team says it’s hard to justify because the ADAS features are outdated and the driving pleasure only meets you halfway. It makes sense only if you specifically want the most loaded version.

The safety package includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and self-parking capability, but the review team says the system is behind what competitors offer.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q7?

This is a buyer-friendly moment if you’re shopping the 2025 Q7, because pricing has moved down and inventory is available.

• Deal availability: 42.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,270 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.30% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,998, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $43,998 sits slightly below last year's $57,366.

That drop suggests the Q7 has become more affordable on the used market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on trim, condition, mileage, and equipment. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you’ll be in a better position to recover more of your investment later.

Is the 2025 Audi Q7 safe?

The 2025 Audi Q7 earns five-star ratings overall and for side crash from NHTSA, and four-star ratings for front crash and rollover.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The Q7 includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and self-parking capability, and you can even engage some of that tech from the myAudi app. The catch is that the lane-centering system is described as haphazard, and the overall ADAS suite is considered outdated relative to rivals. The review also notes that NHTSA does not give its approval to the forward emergency braking or dynamic brake support systems, even though the vehicle meets performance criteria for forward collision and lane-departure warnings.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 42.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.30% compared with last year.
• The refreshed design, wireless smartphone integration, and strong handling matter more to you than having the newest driver-assistance tech.

The bottom line: The 2025 Q7 makes sense if you want the refreshed styling and a strong used-market price, especially if you can find a well-kept example with the equipment you want. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the softer market makes this a good year to shop carefully and compare listings before moving up to a higher trim.
