Is the 2025 Audi Q5 Sportback a good car?

With no expert test-drive score available here, the strongest signal is the market itself: the 2025 Audi Q5 Sportback is trading at $46,139, which is below its $50,109 average from a year ago. That kind of pricing shift can make this model year more appealing if you want to buy into the segment without paying last year’s levels.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q5 Sportback?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Even so, you should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize a close inspection of wear items, cosmetic condition, and any signs of inconsistent maintenance so you can separate a clean example from one that just looks good online.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q5 Sportback?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 231 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.92% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 98.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $46,134, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q5 Sportback's resale value?

The current average of $46,139 sits slightly below last year's $50,109.

For a future seller, that suggests the market has already adjusted downward from prior levels, so your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is maintained. If you buy well now and keep the car in strong shape, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell. If you overpay today, the softer pricing trend could make it harder to recover that cost later.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q5 Sportback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.92% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version in this range and you can find one priced near the lower end of the market, the 2025 is the cleaner primary path. If your main goal is to minimize purchase price, it makes sense to compare nearby model years and focus on the best-condition example rather than the newest badge.
