Is the 2025 Audi A6 a good car?

The 2025 Audi A6 stands out for blending understated luxury with a strong technology story. For you, that means a premium sedan that aims for quiet competence rather than flashy styling, with a conservative design that tends to age well.

It also brings a spacious cabin, standard all-wheel drive, and a powerful engine, while still delivering a premium feel that does not depend on aggressive looks. The tradeoffs are clear too: fuel economy is disappointing, the exterior design is conservative, and the infotainment system has been criticized for being poorly executed.

If you want a refined, practical luxury sedan with broad appeal and a long-lasting design, the A6 fits that brief well. 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is still room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Audi A6 reliable?

The 2025 Audi A6 stands out for blending understated luxury with a strong technology story, and its conservative design tends to age well. That combination points to a sedan that is built around refinement and long-term appeal rather than novelty.

For used buyers, the main reliability concern is less about the overall concept and more about how well the car has been maintained, especially given the premium-tech focus and the criticism of the infotainment system. Long-term ownership risk is best managed by prioritizing condition and service history before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi A6?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the car’s service records before making an offer. A pre-purchase inspection is worth prioritizing, especially if you want to verify the condition of the electronics, cabin features, and overall wear. Focus on how the car presents in person, since premium sedans can look great on paper while still hiding costly maintenance or repair needs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi A6?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 658 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.58% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 97.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $46,428, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi A6's resale value?

The current average of $46,442 sits slightly below last year's $54,371.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you keep the car in strong condition and buy near the lower end of the range, you improve your odds of protecting value later. For a future seller, the key will be how well the car ages relative to its premium positioning and conservative styling.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi A6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.58% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The redesign brings a fresh generation with a more modern platform and updated packaging.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary path if you want a used A6 with softer pricing and a healthy pool of listings to compare. If you are more focused on the newest redesign and can stretch for it, the 2026 is the better secondary path; if you are price-sensitive, the 2025 gives you the stronger value case right now.
