Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the car’s condition matches the listing. If you keep the car in strong condition and avoid accident history, you'll be better positioned when it's time to resell. The key is to buy well now, because the current market gives you more room to negotiate than it did a year ago.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi A5 Sportback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 44.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 29.90% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better choice if you want to shop in a softer market with a decent mix of clean, fairly priced listings. If you're especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a similar car offers a lower entry price, but the 2025 already looks attractive for buyers who want leverage and a broad selection.
