Used 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia for Sale near West Virginia

Is the 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia a good car?

The 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia earns a 5.5/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

That score lines up with the Giulia’s clear priorities: it’s aimed at enthusiasts who want stylish design, a fun-to-drive personality, and premium interior materials. It also has a strong emotional pull if you want a sedan that feels more special than the average commuter car.

The trade-offs are just as clear. The back seat is cramped, the technology feels outdated, and the value proposition is weak enough that this is a car best suited to buyers who care more about character than practicality. 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which helps explain why shoppers may need to be selective.

Is the 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia reliable?

The 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia is presented as a gamble for long-term ownership, with the available information pointing to reliability concerns rather than confidence. The expert summary says the signs point in the wrong direction, and the cost-effectiveness commentary reinforces that concern by noting that a simple search suggests the car could be a gamble.

The performance notes also add to that caution: the transmission lacks refinement in stop-and-go driving, the automatic engine stop/start can feel rough, and the car’s fuel economy did not match expectations in testing. On the ownership side, the warranty merely meets expectations instead of exceeding them, and the car does not hold its value well.

If you’re buying used, the long-term risk is that you may be taking on a stylish sedan that can be rewarding to drive but expensive and frustrating to own.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin, electronics, and driver-assistance behavior, since the car’s technology is a known weak point. It’s also smart to focus on overall condition and maintenance history, especially if you’re considering a higher-priced example.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup is slimmed down for 2025, with a base model, an available Veloce Package, a new Intensa trim level, and a limited-production Tributo Italiano model. The base car is the one most likely to leave you wanting more equipment, while the Intensa adds distinctive appearance touches and the test vehicle’s upscale presentation.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Giulia uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and Q4 all-wheel drive is optional.
• Safety package: The Giulia includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, active blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, traffic sign recognition, and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability. The Driving Assist Package adds Active Driving Assist with lane-centering, plus an anti-theft alarm and lower-speed recommendations when the speed limit changes.
• Infotainment: The Giulia uses an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrumentation panel. It does not have wireless smartphone integration, but you can use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto with a cable.
• Fuel efficiency: The official rating is 26 mpg in combined driving, and testing returned 22.6 mpg on a mountainous evaluation loop.

Which 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia trim should I buy?

The 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia is offered in 4 trim levels: base model, Veloce Package, Intensa, Tributo Italiano.

Here's the short version:

• base model: This is the entry point, and it makes the Giulia’s core appeal available without pushing you into the pricier special editions. If you want the driving character and style first, this is the most straightforward way in.
• Veloce Package: This is the trim path to consider if you want a little more equipment without jumping all the way to the special editions. It’s the best-value direction if you want to keep the Giulia’s personality while avoiding the highest prices.
• Intensa: This is the most distinctive mainstream choice, with black wheels with gold surfacing, black brake calipers with gold lettering, and a black leather interior with tan accents. It suits you if you want the Giulia to feel more special inside and out.
• Tributo Italiano: This limited-production model is for buyers who want exclusivity above all else. It makes the most sense if rarity matters more to you than value.

The safety package is standard, but the Driving Assist Package is an added feature set rather than a default inclusion.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should shop carefully and compare individual cars rather than rushing into the first decent-looking example.

• Deal availability: 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 90 listings available.
• Clean inventory: 88.9% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia safe?

The 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia has no crash-test ratings from either NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

The Giulia does include a solid set of standard driver-assistance features: forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, active blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, traffic sign recognition, and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability. For 2025, the Driving Assist Package adds Active Driving Assist with lane-centering assistance, along with an anti-theft alarm and lower-speed recommendations when the speed limit changes.

The main caveat is that the lane-assist systems were disappointing in testing, with too many false warnings and frequent shutdowns of Active Driving Assist. The reversing camera can also take a long time to load.

Should I buy a 2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• It keeps the Giulia’s enthusiast focus while adding a new Intensa trim and the Driving Assist Package.

Consider the 2024 if:

• It delivers a more dedicated sports-sedan feel with strong handling and engaging driving character.

The bottom line: If you want the latest version of the Giulia’s style-first, driver-focused formula, the 2025 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive and want the core Alfa experience, the 2024 can make sense as a simpler path into the same basic appeal.
