Used 2025 Acura RDX for Sale nearPasadena, CA

How much does the 2025 Acura RDX cost?

Prices have softened 8.29% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,691 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX a good car?

The 2025 Acura RDX earns an expert rating of 7.3/10.

The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

The RDX is still appealing because it refines a familiar formula rather than reinventing it, and it fits well if you want a compact luxury crossover with style, value, and an enjoyable driving experience. The trade-offs are clear: frustrating infotainment controls and poor fuel economy.

The model’s market position looks healthy, with 33.1% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX reliable?

The 2025 Acura RDX is presented as a familiar, long-running design that still feels appealing, and its quality, interior space, practicality, and thoughtful details support that impression. The driving character is described as lively and enjoyable in daily use, with crisp steering, strong brakes, and adaptive damping that responds well to the selected drive mode.

Its performance notes also point to a durable-feeling powertrain setup: a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, a 10-speed automatic, and SH-AWD. Acura also includes a first scheduled maintenance visit as part of the ownership experience.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the same traits that make it appealing can also make it costly to live with if you’re sensitive to fuel use and want a cabin experience that feels modern and effortless.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Acura RDX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a thorough test drive, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with more equipment. Pay close attention to the infotainment controls, rear-seat comfort, and how the driver-assistance systems behave in real traffic. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on overall condition, electronics, and signs of hard use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup centers on a base specification with Technology, A-Spec, Advance, and A-Spec Advance packages. The base version misses some equipment that appears higher up, including navigation and the premium audio system, and the Advance-oriented models add more upscale cabin materials and features.
• Powertrain: Every version uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 272 horsepower, a 10-speed automatic, and SH-AWD. The setup is lively, but fuel economy is a weak point.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system are reserved for higher trims, and the base model lacks low-speed front and rear braking.
• Infotainment: The dashboard display measures 10.2 inches and is not a touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and Alexa Built-in are included, and all versions except the base model add navigation and the Acura/ELS Studio premium sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The RDX is rated at 23 mpg in combined driving, and a real-world test loop returned 19.3 mpg.

Which 2025 Acura RDX trim should I buy?

The 2025 Acura RDX is offered in 5 trim levels: base, Technology, A-Spec, Advance, and A-Spec Advance.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it’s the one most likely to leave you wanting more because it misses navigation and the premium audio system. It makes sense only if you want the lowest starting price and can live with the simpler equipment mix.
• Technology: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds the equipment gap-filling features you’re most likely to notice in daily use, including navigation and the Acura/ELS Studio premium sound system.
• A-Spec: Choose this if you want the sportier look, including gloss black exterior accents and a more aggressive appearance. Just know that the red-on-silver gauge treatment can be harder to read at a glance.
• Advance: This is the comfort-focused step up, and it adds upscale touches such as full leather upholstery. It also brings more of the premium convenience equipment you’d expect in a luxury crossover.
• A-Spec Advance: This is the most fully equipped version and the one to choose if you want the richest cabin presentation, including full leather upholstery and the most complete feature set.

AcuraWatch is standard across the lineup, while low-speed front and rear braking and the surround-view camera system are reserved for higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Acura RDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,691 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.29% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,571, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $41,571 sits slightly below last year's $45,328.

That price movement suggests the RDX has softened enough to help you buy in at a more favorable point than a year ago. If you plan to sell later, the current discounting means your resale upside may be more limited unless you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition.

For a future seller, the key is that the RDX still has appeal as a well-equipped compact luxury crossover, but its value will depend heavily on mileage, condition, and trim. Higher-spec examples with desirable equipment should be easier to position than a plain base model.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX safe?

The 2025 RDX earned a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and a five-star overall crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is the standard driver-assistance suite, and it includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims also offer low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system.

One caveat is that the lane-assist systems can be irritating in everyday driving, and the adaptive cruise control can struggle to maintain a smooth following distance.

Should I buy a 2025 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.29% compared with last year.
• This year adds subtle styling updates, a new wireless charging pad, revised cupholders, and improved Apple CarPlay and Android Auto presentation.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the freshest version of this familiar RDX formula and you value the updated convenience touches. If you’re mainly chasing the lowest price, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025’s softer pricing and strong inventory make it a reasonable target for shoppers who want a well-equipped luxury crossover now.
