Used 2025 Acura RDX for Sale nearMount Pleasant, MI

How much does the 2025 Acura RDX cost?

Prices have softened 8.93% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,627 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX a good car?

The 2025 Acura RDX earns a 7.3/10 expert rating, and Acura’s updates keep it appealing without changing its core formula.

The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

It remains a strong value in the compact luxury crossover SUV segment, and it is enjoyable to drive with good safety ratings. The trade-offs are clear: poor fuel economy and frustrating infotainment controls.

For you, that means the RDX makes the most sense if you want a well-equipped luxury crossover that feels polished and useful rather than cutting-edge. 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX reliable?

The 2025 Acura RDX comes across as a durable, well-rounded compact luxury SUV with thoughtful updates rather than a risky redesign. Acura’s changes for this model year are modest, and the vehicle’s core hardware remains familiar, which can be reassuring if you prefer a proven setup.

The expert evaluation also points to strong day-to-day livability, with quality interior materials, practical cabin details, and a powertrain that has already been in service for years. The performance notes describe the RDX as enjoyable to drive during the daily grind, with crisp steering and confident braking.

The cost-effectiveness commentary adds that the RDX’s quality, interior space, practicality, and thoughtful details make it pleasing to live with over time. Acura also adds a new wireless charging pad and revised cupholders, which are small but useful ownership touches.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that you may have to live with the same infotainment frustrations and fuel costs over the life of the vehicle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Acura RDX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a thorough test drive, especially if you are comparing multiple trims or higher-mileage examples. Pay close attention to cabin condition, infotainment usability, and whether the vehicle’s driver-assistance systems behave the way you expect.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup centers on a base specification with Technology, A-Spec, Advance, and A-Spec Advance packages, and the base version misses some equipment that appears on higher versions. The top A-Spec Advance trim adds full leather upholstery, while the Advance and A-Spec Advance models also gain more upscale comfort and convenience content.
• Powertrain: A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and SH-AWD. The engine is lively, but it can be thirsty when you lean on it.
• Safety package: AcuraWatch is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system are reserved for higher trims, and the base RDX lacks low-speed front and rear braking.
• Infotainment: A 10.2-inch display works through Acura’s True Touchpad Interface rather than a touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and Alexa Built-in are included, and all versions except the base model have navigation and an Acura/ELS Studio premium sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The RDX returns 23 mpg in combined driving, and the expert evaluation notes 19.3 mpg on a mountainous driving loop. The model is described as thirsty, so fuel costs are worth factoring into your budget.

Which 2025 Acura RDX trim should I buy?

The 2025 Acura RDX is offered in 5 trim levels: base, Technology, A-Spec, Advance, and A-Spec Advance.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point if you want the lowest price, but it leaves out some of the richer convenience and safety-adjacent equipment found higher up the range. It makes sense if you mainly want the RDX’s core powertrain, standard AWD, and value.
• Technology: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds meaningful equipment without pushing you all the way to the pricier luxury-focused trims. If you want a more complete daily driver, this is the trim to start with.
• A-Spec: Choose this if you want the sportier appearance treatment and a more aggressive look. The trade-off is that the gauges become harder to read at a glance, so it is more about style than substance.
• Advance: This is the comfort-oriented step up, and it is the better pick if you want more upscale features and a more premium feel. It also unlocks more of the RDX’s convenience tech.
• A-Spec Advance: This is the most fully equipped version, combining the sportier appearance with the richer feature set. It is the right choice if you want the most luxurious and most complete RDX, and it is the trim that adds full leather upholstery.

Higher trims also bring low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system, while the base RDX lacks low-speed front and rear braking.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Acura RDX?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have room to shop carefully without waiting forever for a deal.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,627 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.93% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,236, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Acura RDX's resale value?

The current average of $41,236 sits slightly below last year's $45,281.

That price movement suggests the RDX has softened enough to help you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about pricing. If you buy well now, you may have less downside than someone who paid closer to last year’s average.

The good news is that the model’s strong value proposition and broad appeal should help it remain marketable. The challenge is that fuel economy and infotainment complaints may keep resale demand from being stronger than the rest of the segment.

Is the 2025 Acura RDX safe?

The 2025 Acura RDX earned a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and a five-star overall crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

AcuraWatch is the standard driver-assistance suite, and it includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims also offer low-speed front and rear braking and a surround-view camera system.

One caveat is that the lane-assist systems were irritating in testing, and the adaptive cruise control could struggle to smoothly maintain a proper following distance. If you value driver-assistance refinement, that is worth checking during your test drive.

Should I buy a 2025 Acura RDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.93% compared with last year.
• Acura’s updates this year add a new wireless charging pad, revised cupholders, and a better presentation of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The bottom line: The 2025 RDX is the better pick if you want the freshest version of this proven formula and you can live with its infotainment and fuel-economy compromises. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025’s softer pricing and updated cabin details make it the cleaner buy if you find a strong listing.
