Should I buy a 2024 Toyota bZ4X or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.40% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,499, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $25,004 average.
• It introduced Toyota’s first U.S.-market electric crossover.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the current-year market with decent deal availability and strong clean-inventory odds. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the better value play, especially if you find one in similarly good condition.
