Is the 2024 Toyota Prius Prime a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. That kind of feedback suggests you’re looking at a model year that has resonated well with drivers, especially if you value a positive ownership experience. With 38.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a meaningful share of the market to shop from.

Is the 2024 Toyota Prius Prime reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce some of the uncertainty around long-term ownership risk, though you should still verify maintenance history and overall condition before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Prius Prime?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings. Focus on condition, maintenance records, and any signs of prior damage or inconsistent upkeep so you can separate the best examples from the rest.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Prius Prime?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 312 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.48% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,793, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Prius Prime's resale value?

The current average of $32,988 sits slightly below last year's $34,176.

That softer pricing can help you buy more efficiently today, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the market holds up from here. If prices stabilize, a well-kept example could remain competitive when you eventually sell. If they continue to ease, you may want to be especially disciplined about purchase price and condition now.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Prius Prime or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2024 is the better choice if you want a year with strong owner satisfaction, a healthy share of good deals, and a market that has already softened from last year. If you’re more price-sensitive, you can still shop nearby years, but the 2024 gives you a solid balance of value and buyer confidence right now.
