What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Camry?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report and confirm there are no accident or title issues before you go any further. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the interior, electronics, and ride quality so you can judge whether the car still feels as smooth and well-kept as owners describe. It also helps to focus on overall condition, since the best used examples are the ones that still show the Camry’s comfort and practicality without obvious wear.

The current average of $26,387 sits slightly above last year's $26,206.

That small increase suggests the Camry is holding value well rather than sliding sharply. If you buy carefully and keep the car in good condition, you should have a solid chance of getting competitive offers later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $28,476, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $26,387 average.
• It brings a new hybrid-only design with updated styling and features.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want a proven, well-liked Camry at a lower used price. If you care more about the newest design and are willing to pay more, the 2025 is the better fit. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
